we were quick to change our minds with this place.. thinking we fell inlove with the atmosphere, the staff had nothing better to do but harass us for simply checking out the pool area as we were potentially viewing the place for a wedding venue. mother nature does a wonderful job, but went to waste quickly. See less

Actually just visited to buy some plants from the Nursery there....But FAMILY FRIENDLY Cafe was busy...Food looked & smelt delicious... Accommodation appeared neat & tidy and well maintained from the outside..... Looked a loveley place to relax & spend some time See less

Perfect getaway ! The place is amazing, as soon as you enter it’s quiet , peaceful . Pool area and the gardens feels like Bali ! All of the staff is super friendly. Thanks for welcoming us so nicely The villas as very clean , spacious, just what you’d expect Delicious coffee and breakfast is amazing !!!! You can walk to the beach which is even nicer than main beach we think Maybe one little + thing would be maybe to open a little earlier for coffee !! We will be back for sure and for longer ! Where does one start. The wonderful professional and friendly staff. Amazing comfortable accommodation which is very private and very well provided for. Or does one shout about an excellent array of wonderful breakfasts or talk about the lamb on a spit, all served in an atmosphere surpassed by the tranquility of the tropical gardens surrounding a pool many would be envious of. My partner and I stayed at the getaway for a week and we absolutely loved it! We enjoyed it from the moment we arrived! The Getaway staff were so helpful, friendly and kind! Without asking they gave us a little Map of 1770 with the information we needed so we could explore 1770 and enjoy what the beautiful place has to offer, we were still so close to everything but still felt like we were in our own little cottage and Forrest! The cabins are super cute and comfy surrounded with beautiful trees and garden. The garden cafe connected to the getaway is also a beautiful little cafe/restaurant to check out too! Beautiful scenery and very yummy food! Thank you for having us! We will definitely be back! <3 See less

Overpriced and overrated. Coffee was great but anything from kitchen takes ages and takeaway orders gets missed. Not so happy after waiting more than 30 mins for a banana bread. See less

Only stayed one night but had a wonderful experience here! The owners were really accommodating when our booking had issues through Agoda (would recommend booking directly with 1770 Getaway instead). The staff were wonderful and friendly. The villa was modern, clean, and comfortable, with AC units, tv and accessories, tea and coffee, etc. There is a cafe on site which had great food and espresso. Would definitely stay again! See less

Look no where else, this place is Paradise luscious gardens, pool area is fantastic Rooms are well maintained, your own kitchen/laundry, BBQ as well on the deck over looking the gardens. They also have a restaurant that runs breakfast,lunch,dinner. Good home made food with LOVE. See less

Lovely Holiday! ❤️ We loved our stay & look forward to coming back in summer. 1770 Getaway is a Family run business with a very personal touch. From the moment we arrived, Carla was very welcoming & friendly. She was a wealth of local knowledge. The villas are spacious & well appointed. The Cafe is popular for a reason... The coffee & scrumptious cakes made on site were delicious as was the slow cooked Sunday roast lamb...Thank you to Michael for inviting us to enjoy the fire pit.... Close to quiet beaches & paperbark forest boardwalk. We were pleased to have our car so we could explore all 1770 & Agnes Water had to offer especially the sunsets! See less
