The first time I placed an order from this restaurant was in December 2020 via DoorDash. The order was never delivered because the restaurant was closed. I said to myself could just be a technical error. Got a refund all good.
Placed an order again yesterday 17th July from this restaurant. Multiple dashers were assigned, two hours later no food. I then proceeded to make my first call to the restaurant after 'patiently' waiting. The guy who answered the phone said we are waiting for Dasher to come your food is sitting ready. All this while my dasher is at the shop waiting to pick up the order. The guy from restaurant said the dasher just walked in and he was sending out my order. I said alright and hung up. Five minutes later my dasher is still at the restaurant because now apparently someone else had picked up my food. I made my second call to the restaurant and the guy says i hung up on him and disrespected him. His words were somewhere along these lines, "Listen to me, someone else has picked up your order and I am remaking your order. The kitchen is really busy so its going to take 30 minutes for your order to prepared. If you don't want it cancel the order". He then proceeded to say if i don't hang up the phone he wouldn't be able to sort my order out. My call was exact 1 min 4 secs long.
I don't think your food or staff is worth a three hour wait.
I work for a restaurant too and i understand the pressure we are under. But when i know its my mistake i wouldn't blame it on the customer. See less
