I have been wanting to try my local takeaway for a while. Unfortunately it wasn’t good at all. Fish batter was way too thick, chips had that really old oil taste and the hamburger was almost uneatable. One small slice of tomato, one small beetroot, old brown iceberg lettuce, patty not cooked properly and had a strange spice flavour which was really off putting. Even drowned in tomato sauce I couldn’t finish it. Probably the worst hamburger I have ever eaten . Would not recommend disappointing really. Similar to another review with raw meat. See less

Steves has been at melba for as long as I've been around. The pizzas are greatly filling, and the take away options are pretty good. It's what you'd expect at a fish and chips takeaway. Prices change reguarly though, so always ask the prices. See less
