Great coffee and some amazing freshly baked scones. This venue has several awards for their hot beverages and cakes, and it definitely lived up to their name! The staff were great too, and tables were cleaned very quickly to allow for more guests. The snacks and drinks came out very quickly too which was great, and would definitely recommend visiting here after going to the aviary or other nearby attractions. See less

Firstly, we made a booking but when we got there our reservation was never made and no table was set up. Poor response! They apologise and we thought everything was going to be fine but no. We started ordering our meals and waited, and waited, and waited. The place was not packed full of guests, it was not busy but still took then nearly 50 minutes for the food and this was not all together. Very dissatisfied and disappointed now. Whilst the food was tasty, it was not presented well making it less appetizing-presentation or platting not good. The honoured my seniors discount which was good. Finally, one of the orders was wrong but they corrected this too but it came top late again. So, I don't know, I may not return because we were not convinced enough for a return visit. They serve brunch comprising of Scones, Sandwiches to Croquettes & Desserts along with 200+ Tea !☕ Treat yourself with an award-winning tea infused menu handcrafted especially for you.. The tea at Adore Tea Teahouse lives up to their name for delivering the best tea café in the capital. Their food menu could be better, but that isn't their speciality. Food was alright but the service was slow. Took too long for the four dishes to come out (>40 min) and only gave them one at a time which wasnt ideal. It was a Sunday which I understand is busier - however the cafe was less than half full. In addition, they DO have a 10% weekend surcharge, so Id hope they would still give service appropriately. Visited on a Saturday afternoon about an hour before closing time. We were told it would be a 30 minute wait, which was fine. All available tables were still covered in leftover dishes and utensils from their previous patrons - but we were told by staff they these would be cleared quickly. Our food arrived after 45 minutes and the waitress still didn't clear our table - so we had our meals and drinks served with cluttered mess still all over the table! Quality of tea and food was good, and the manager eventually came out to take away the mess. See less

Did a Mother's Day High Tea at Adore Teahouse back in 2018, was lovely and really enjoyed it. Went for Mother's Day High Tea this year and much has changed... to start with the amount of people squeezed into the indoor space surely exceeded covid maximums (advertised as max of 30, I counted many more). Booked for 5 people (4 adults + 1 child), was seated at a table for 4, was 'fixed' by placing a chair at the end of the table - but no place setting nor any extra room. Asked for a place setting and they queried why when the booking was for 4. Because of the number of people inside, we were squashed into the corner, hard up against the window, the backs of our chairs were up against the wall and the chairs at the next table too (so no room), where as the two tables to our immediate right had 3 and 2 people on them (same size table as I was seated at) and they had heaps of room and very open. Due to the very limited room, service with the staff meant we had the delights of underarms in our face whenever they delivered food and tea. On arrival, we were presented with a champagne punch in a flute glass that still had lipstick on it from the previous person (returned it immediately). A couple of small house spiders graced us with their presence too. Food was reasonable and the tea was nice but I don't anticipate a return visit anytime soon. Sorry, two stars. See less

A beautiful, slightly decadent brunch can be had at this cute, much bigger than expected, teahouse. It doesn't just appeal to tea lovers (just look at the colour of the butterfly pea's tea, Vanilla Sky!) but great coffee also. I could easily go back many times and have something different everytime. The Chicken Croquettes were deliciously herby and so beautifully presented. Loved this place ❤ See less

Splendid tea house, extensive selection of teas. Comfortable seating inside and out. Very pleasant staff and a menu with gf options. The tea cups are so beautiful; wonderful presentation! We ordered gf banana bread, it came with a side of rose-infused butter...beyond decadent! The Earl Grey tea and hot choc were also delicious! Bought 2 pouches of tea before our departure. See less

Very good. A bit expensive. Delicious tea (I reccoment the chocolate tea and the caramel tea 👌). Definetly try the chicken melt (in the image below on the right ), it's amazing and theres 4 huge pieces (under $20). Really nice staff and a good place to hang out with friends and get lunch. See less
