Very good Italian food, the pizzas and gnocchi, desserts and pasta are scrumptious. The ambiance and atmosphere is buzzy and welcoming. The sore points would be the the less than satisfactory service due to somewhat raw serving staff and the excessive reliance on technology for booking. A simple phone call should suffice. See less

Family of five, we were looking for somewhere to grab a quick bite on a Wednesday night after a drive up from Melbourne. Everywhere was fully booked, including Agostinis but they offered to arrange a table in the foyer area of the hotel along with other over flow guests. I was sceptical that we would be looked after but we were too tired to try another restaurant. It was great, the service was excellent both from the restaurant and the bar. The pizzas were brilliant! Highly recommend the Capriccosa. See less

Really liked it. Great food, friendly staff. Really good for the kids (kids menu, colouring pencils, etc) but still felt like a classy restaurant for a family night out. Service was a touch slow (probably just needed a few more staff on, which I imagine is tough these days with COVID, etc). We will definitely be back. See less

An outstanding dining experience. My wife and I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant immediately upon being seated. The wait staff, Clara, was so professional, pleasant and helpful throughout the evening. The Italian wine she assisted in selecting was really outstanding and very good value for money. The food spoke for itself.... very well presented, generous portions and so fresh and tasteful. We will be back...it was such a lovely experience: Atmosphere, Service, Food. Food was good, service is average at best. Set menu is probably the worst value in Canberra. We had 7 people so we had to choose a set menu option. $60 per person $420 in total and we receive 3 starters, 3 pizzas, 3 pastas and dessert board to share of which if we ordered off the menu would be less than $300. The pasta portions were tiny. We were still hungry at the end of the meal and asked for more pizzas, the pizzas provided were not good. I would not come here if you are a group of 7 or more. See less

Great atmosphere, good service and bar. I had a squid ink pasta and I love it and we have Francesco pizza too, tasty and I really love the pasta. It's a cosy restaurant to have a dinner with your love one or couple of friends. See less

Have been here four times over two weeks (I stayed in the hotel). The three pasta dishes I had where excellent, the steak however tasted like hamburger grade meat. The recommended wine pairing on the menu was a nice touch. Booking ahead is highly recommended as this place is always busy. See less

We stopped by for a meal after hearing some great things through friends and they were right. The duck pasta was my favourite, it just had all the right ingredients to produce that overall flavour balance. The pizza was good but not great, but the kids loved it. The panna cotta was exactly the way it should be, I just wished the serving size could be bigger. Overall, it was really good food at a reasonable price (for Canberra). The venue had a modern look with good acoustics. On top of all that, service was friendly and efficient. See less

I went there twice for the pizza but the other day I decide to try the ravioli and it was the worst that I had ever had in my life. It was hard, dry, flavorless and awful. Never again. Edit: Yes that was available in the menu otherwise I would not have that and I went with my husband and friends. Def was disappointing since we liked the pizza, but good to know you removed that from your menu, you did the best thing. Thank you! See less

Just finished moving into the area. Too tired to cook. Thought we’d be safe with pizza. Ordered two from this place at approx 9:10pm on a Sunday night. One was OK but this one (chilli, salami and olives) was almost devoid of topping apart from an excess of olives. Very disappointing. Driver was great! See less

Food was average. $30 for this lamb ragu pasta. Came almost empty. Yes this is the whole serve!!! For $30 I expected a lot more, or at least tastier. Was bland and way overpriced. Would not recommend this place at all. Asked for a different cheese on the pizza, did not happen, chips soggy and tiny pasta serve. Don’t waste your money. Try Briscola or Belluchis instead of you want delicious Italian. See less

Great pizza and service. We had the four cheeses and capriciossa, both of which had a good amount of ingredients, a very thin pizza base, and were delicious. If you're hungry, I'd suggest one pizza per adult. Although we ordered takeaway, the open kitchen and dining room were impressive and trendy. Being a Friday night, the place had many diners and a great atmosphere. Finally, I forgot to collect my change of $2, which resulted in them running after us to deliver the $2 to us. Whilst on the topic of payments, there is a 1.5% credit card surcharge, which you can avoid if you pay with cash or a debit card. See less

Their modern open kitchen also ensure that you don't miss any of the action. It will also help you get some ideas when it comes to ordering your meal. In two sittings we tried their Fungi pizza, their Lobster Pasta, and pork rib pappardelle. Each dish was stunning, but our favourite stand out meal was the Lobster pasta! OMG - coupled with a beautiful red pasta sauce, this decadent dish is something we will come back for! See less
