We couldn't fault the food at Al Porto Vecchio when we dined last. The stand out was definitely the Tuscan prawn entrée and the woodfire pizza was delicious. Would recommend for family gatherings as the venue has lots of space. Sunny courtyard is also lovely in the warmer months. See less

Went for dinner last night with my partner, we had a three course meal. Cannot fault the service, the meals were amazing and the atmosphere was fantastic. Very reasonable prices. If I were to pick anything at all, the music could have been Italian playing in the dining area, but thats only a very minor thing - and being picky at that. Cute venue, great meal with amazing tastes, excellent hosting. Will definitely be back! See less

Returned to this restaurant at the invitation of the owner following my previous not so good review... what a difference!!!! We were greeted by friendly enthusiastic staff. The meals we chose were salt and pepper calamari,cooked to perfection ,flavoursome and a generous serve..also roasted cauliflower with faro salad was an explosion for the taste buds. The wine was perfect. Thanks so much for the delicious meals and the excellent service. Would definitely recommend and most definitely will return.. See less

Loved everything about the restaurant. The staff was really friendly and the food was amazing! And it’s located just in front of the port which is so nice for a late night walk. Would definitely recommend to anyone who loves Italian food. See less

Never disappointed with the quality of food and service at this family restaurant. The owners and staff are always welcoming and so very friendly, they make like family. Was excited to try this place as a family member had been there in the past. As we arrived he was told there was a new chef and it all went down hill from there. This was the first and last time I’ll ever go to this restaurant. I was excited to have authentic Italian and most of the menu and pastas included sweet chilli sauce from the bottle? Being Italian that is a massive no no...... pizza was burnt. Pasta was okay..... tasted like it was a cheap sauce from a bottle with full slices of salami and Olives. Ask for tagliatelle and got fettuccini pasta. The chefs were Indian not Italian and I was very underwhelmed. I feel I make better Italian food at home. Waitress stuffed up the drink orders. A lot of us couldn’t wait to leave. Needs a massive improvement. See less

This was one of the best meals I've had in years! I was a little concerned by the look of the restaurant, but this was soon allayed by the size and quality of the meals. I went with my 2 little children. The food came promptly, the service was friendly and welcoming, the serving sizes were large and the quality of the ingredients was high. I travel frequently all over the world, and this was one of the best dining experiences I have had. Highly recommend :) See less
