The owner and his family are phenomenal bakers, phenomenal chefs, and phenomenal people. Always friendly and always happy to have a chat. The savory foods and desserts alike are all great. I recommend everything, but especially the Falafel Wrap (get the Extra version, it’s only ten bucks and it’s got all the good stuff), all the baklava, the date mamool, the konafa, the cinnamon cake and harissa cake, the Turkish coffee and teas… look, it’s just all really good! Very good food and coffee. The sweets and the main dishes are excellent. It has a pleasant atmosphere for relaxing and eating outdoors. Service can be slow when it is busy but it is worth the wait and the hosts are friendly and polite. See less

What a hidden gem! Super friendly staff and Super tasty treats made on the premises. I tasted the best baklava ever! If you are a fan of baklava and traditional sweets pay them a visit. I purchased a mixed platter for a 50th birthday which was nicely presented with a ribbon and was a huge hit. See less

We had breakfast at Al-Taher at Mawson Shops. This was the first time we had a Middle Eastern breakfast and felt overwhelmed by the may delicious options. The gentleman at this shop was very welcoming and accommodating. My friend and I were looking for lunch . We saw the lovely shop offering a wide variety of middle eastern sweets and food . We weren’t to sure what to order. The shop owner was only to happy to help and make recommendations. The food was great , the service awesome . I will definitely be visiting more often . See less
