We were greeted with smiles upon entry, the restaurant has a contemporary look with soft lighting and candle lit tables. Could not fault the service, aside from trainee staff learning hick-ups but it gave us all something to laugh about together for the night.
The northern Italian dishes we had were rich in flavours, the drinks were fabulous, I love that the pretty butter complimented the warm side rolls. Although the potato gnocchi melted in your mouth, it needed slightly more pinch of salt so did the stracciatella, the veal was perfectly tender, the ragù was perfectly cooked, and the oysters were fresh. The house made desserts were good and coffee came with complimentary Biscotti di Meliga. Definitely had a fine dining experience.
The rest rooms could do with a revamp to suit with the rest of the decor.
