If there was a six or seven stars, Anchovy would hit them. Easy. With The at the helm in the kitchen, and Andy and JY on the floor this small Boheme restaurant in Richmond is a true delight. I can explain each of the wonderful dishes but you can't describe the joy of biting into a small mochi baked in a tea cup with a flavourful umami of shallots and fish paste on top. Or the pleasant-induced grin from a roti-like sesame bun with an anchovy butter. There's a Murray cod fish lightly grilled with an Indian inspired paste, served with iceberg lettuce, fresh herbs, a pickled Daikon, hot Brinjal-like pickles and a sweetish dipping sauce. Absolutely worth a visit. I forgot to mention the sweet dish. It's in the photos. You end up lying to your friend so you can get an extra bite. See less
