Not a fan of writing negative reviews, but we wish we would have read some of the reviews before spending $279 on a really lacklustre lunch. Maybe we wouldn’t have such a sour taste left in our mouth if the service wasn’t so lifeless, it looked like no one wanted to be there (although the French waitress was lovely), the space between dishes was sometimes 45 minutes to an hour long. If the kitchen can’t handle the 20 pax dining, maybe they should half their bookings. The food was very average - first course looked so promising, but downhill from there, and honestly we just wanted to leave. Arrived 10 minutes before our booking at 1pm, 25 minutes to get the first course, half an hour after that for the next. At 2:50pm our main course still hadn’t arrived. For a place that has a chefs hat, we expected decent food (not tough confit duck, flavourless side dishes, really undercooked (crunchy) and grainy cannellini beans, overcooked veg swimming in oil covered in a sheet of pasta), amazing service and atmosphere. I hope this review helps others - we won’t be recommending this venue to anyone. See less

Probably the worst dining experience I've had. I visited this place as part of a tour and got a call the morning of, asking if I had any dietary requirements. I said that I am not allergic to anything but that I dislike fish. They said, no problem - see you soon. With no menu, I trusted the staff to deliver according to my preferences. The first course included crayfish bisque, tuna and also caviar on a pork ball. They said 'we know you don't like fish, but we think you'll like it'.. We didn't, but we gave them the benefit of the doubt. We then had some bread before our next course which was literally just fish. This is where I spoke up and said that I specifically said I disliked fish. They then said that by the time they spoke to us, it was too late to change the menu, when we asked why we weren't contacted earlier then? They said that they tried to contact our tour group and got no response, so they contacted us instead (but by then it was too late). This is where I stand, how would the the tour group have known our dietary requirements in the first place? They obviously had our details to call directly but by the time they did it was too late. But mostly, what kind of restaurant can't adapt for one adaption, 4 hours in advance. We had no opportunity to tell them prior ourselves. So to shorten a huge review, we over $500 for a meal that we told them we didn't want, we paid for a wine pairing that come out without being explained and totally separate to the food and dealt with a extrememely rude and unpleasant manager who was totally unapologetic. Even the non-fish food was extremely average and everything was tiny, we were starving when we left. This is the first negative review I've ever written for the main fact that I would not recommend this place to anybody. See less

Delicious degustation with matched wines, with friendly and efficient service. The crayfish pasta was a highlight, but all courses were divine. The garden - a mix of bird attracting natives with a kitchen garden further afield - makes a beautiful setting perfect for a long lunch in the autumn sun. Highly recommended. We will most definitely be back. See less

WOW! What an experience! Five of us were sharing a special birthday in Yallingup, so we decided to spoil ourselves with lunch at Arimia Estate after reading positive reviews and a previous menu. The experience exceeded all our expectations; with a tranquil location and lovely architecture creating the perfect background ambiance for the stunning but simply presented dishes. This was all brought together by the wonderful and knowledgeable front-off-house staff who provided a very friendly service without being intrusive, and explaining the subtleties of each dish in an unpretentious manner. Each dish became our new favourite and the subject of much discussion at the table and with the wait-staff, as the full menu is kept secret and revealed only course by course. When pressed to decide our final favourite, we universally agreed on the crayfish, crab and grapefruit linguini. The combination of the sweet crayfish and crab, slightly tart grapefruit, popping roe, and al dente handmade pasta was as close to a perfect dish as we have ever eaten. We were able to take a leisurely walk through the house-garden, between the entrees and main course, where our ingredients had been freshly picked, and speak with the gardener. She was happy to take time to tell us about the various plants growing there and the challenges of supplying the seasonal ingredients. We were even invited to taste the multitude of tomato varieties still on the vines. The overall experience made for a perfect day and we would go back again in a heartbeat to try another delicious and stunning seasonal menu. See less

Food was nice but not amazing and very small portions (left hungry). Unfortunately very poor service. One older lady in particular who I think was the manager or the owner was very rude. We waited 50 minutes to get a drink and asked to do a wine tasting which they refused. We were eventually allowed to taste two glasses of wine each. At the end they told us they wouldn't split the close to $1000 bill which is crazy because no one carries cash now. Wines were not very nice also. See less
