The Madras and Handi are very good. The cheese garlic Naan is the best I have ever had anywhere. The vindaloo paste was a bit too thick and rich for my liking, otherwise would be 5/5 from me. See less

Some of the best indian food in the Hutt. Big menu with lots of vegetarian options. Malai kofta and the naans stand out but everything I've had here was delicious. See less

Sitting here waiting for my order to get delivered. I ordered at 6:30 and am now being told I'll have to wait until 8:30 with no guarantee that my food will be here by then. I'm really disappointed. Both times I've tried getting food delivered from here this has happened. Just leaves me hungry and regretting my choice. I'm not one to leave negative reviews usually, and the food is decent, but I wouldn't recommend getting it delivered. See less

Rang through a phone order to be told it would be 20minutes. Spent all that time waiting, only to go to collect order and told that they don't have my order!!!! Bloody frustrating, now eating cheese and vegemite on toast! Not the first time something has gone wrong. I have ordered a very mild butter chicken previously, only to then get it home (Stokes Valley)and it be far too spicy for my husband. Wasn't going to use more petrol to return it. I will not be using them again. Very disappointed as their food is usually on point. See less

Excellent Indian restaurant! Came here for a Saturday lunch and we were not disappointed. Ordered a cheese and garlic naan that actually had plenty of both, and the Hakka noodles tasted spicy and unique. Definitely recommend! See less

Excellent Indian restaurant, very clean and totally redecorated, wonderful friendly staff who gave excellent service. Great to be able to order mild,medium or strong finish, with an excellent and extensive menu. The food was great, quantities very good with great taste and presentation, thoroughly enjoyed the meal and will return again, plus they do the same menu for lunch with free roti or nan bread in differing flavors. If you want an excellent Indian meal in the Hutt Valley, then you won't find better than the Aroma India restaurant plus the same menu is available for takeaways. See less

Great little place. A friend and I ordered take away. I ordered the Samosa, Chicken madras, and cheese and garlic Naan. The two samosas were huge and tasty. The madras had great flavour and the chicken was tender. The Naan is one of the better naans i have had. Medium heat had a good kick to it as well. Plenty of rice. Warning you will be full afterwards. I shouldnt have ordered the samosas as well because I struggled to finish. Great serving sizes. In addition I left my phone behind and they went through the trouble of finding my friends number and calling him so we could grab it. Great service. See less
