I'm usually pretty easy going and don't do bad reviews. This poor takeaway has unfortunately inspired me to respond. Absolute rubbish..1. Massaman curry ....absolute watery no meat or veg 2. Beef Rendang ...sloppy again ...like a soup, very average. 3. Nasi Goreng ...so overcooked ....not good. Makes me worry about the standard of reviews. No way in the world if you served up this you would or could have repeat business. MONDAY night ...maybe we got the weekend leftovers. Seems so ...N O T good enough. Will never try again ! See less

IN SEACH OF CANBERRA'S BEST LAKSA. The Laska at Asian Taste Canberra (Mawson) has some really nice flavours, full serving, just enough kick without being over powering, and the Ling fish in the soup tasted wonderful. Overall the ATC Laksa left us wanting to come back again. Well done chef. See less

Food was delicious! We ordered the hainan chicken & the combination laksa, generous servings, good value will come back again to try the rest of the menu :) The sambal was amazing they need to sell it in mini jars or something! See less

Easily the best Char kway teow in Canberra.Quick service and Covid Safe measures followed. Update: Chef's Sambal is so good I wish they bottled it! All food made to order and still easily the best Char Kway Teow in town. See less

Place that used to be Spices of Malacca until the new management ruined it. Fortunately the head chef is now back in control, and everything is good again. There are no bad dishes here, everything is excellent, repeat customer here, I've had the whole menu. See less

This is the best Malaysian restaurant in Canberra we have visited. Plus point for being halal certified! The chef brought his experience from running a restaurant in Subang, Malaysia to the dishes offered here. We had the Jalan Imbi noodles (hor fun) and assam pedas barramundi for dinner. The noodles had the characteristic aroma of being fried in a wok, and was accompanied by fresh vegetables and seafood in an egg gravy. The sliced chili which was marinated in vinegar and soya sauce lent a tart balance to the full bodied flavours of the noodles. The assam pedas had the characteristic taste of tamarind and lime leaves which gave it a refreshing spin to the pan fried barramundi. Sedap sekali! Kami ingin makan di restoran ini sekali lagi! Great food and service at this new fitout in Mawson. The chicken laksa was delicious with a generous serving size. The owner was friendly and shared his passion for the cuisine with us. Definitely worth a try, I know I'll be back again! See less

We had dinner at Asian Taste tonight with our young children and had a lovely experience. The waiter was fantastic at giving advice on meals that would be toddler friendly and was very helpful. The food was delicious and the serving size was very generous. See less
