Baby J’s always goes above and beyond but tonight they made my week. Being in our 6th lockdown we are struggling and tonight Baby J’s made everything a whole lot better. First off, I want to say sorry if my comment sounded rude or that ones is Cali are so much better. I wasn’t expected to be put on the spot after trying the dessert. it was my partner and I first time going and the staff were really nice to us and explained a few things on the menu. As for our funnel cakes I had, In my head I had really high expectations which I know one shouldn’t do. So it wasn’t what I expected, but it wasn’t bad either it was just too crunchy for me. i now understand that they like to make them on the crunchy side which to each their own, he was extremely nice about explaining that to me. Do you love sweets like we do?? Do you get sweet tooth cravings after dinner?? We are sure the answer would be yes. We have found an ultimate solution for this. Head to @babyjsdesserts from Thursday- Sunday and you will be in a happy place. This is a nice little spot where you can find some amazing and innovative desserts. During our recent visit we tried- - Donut fries : yes you read it right. These are donut turned into fries and comes with a sweet glazed sauce. - Loaded donut fries : you can choose various toppings as you like. We went with white and dark melted chocolate and strawberries - Apple pie drive : this has crumble, warm apples, caramel sauce & whipped cream All of these were just amazing. They also have cheesecake sticks and many other different options. Much recommended place and you won’t be disappointed. Haven't had a funnel cake since visiting Canada a couple of years ago and Baby J's was better. Lots of choice when it comes to toppings for both the Funnel cakes and the frozen cheese cake. Great food truck kind of atmosphere and also has an inside eating area if and when its a little cold and windy. Found this by accident but would and have been recommending to everyone i know to give it a go. Yummo, keep it up. See less
