Dropped in for a quick meal, service was amazing. The Linguine Marinara was superb with it soft fresh seafood that melts in your mouth. Also one of the best Lemon & Lime Bitters I ever had. Will definitely come back again. See less

Had dinner with the kids there recently. We were extremely impressed with how quickly the meals came out, and the overall quality. Most tender salt and pepper squid, wonderfully flavoursome Caesar salad and fantastic Angus burger with the lot. Will happily return! See less

The worst experience ever. It used to be our favourite place, but we will no longer be back there!! Extremely rude service , with soooo much attitude, why on earth your workers will treat clients like idiots??. Why your workers are so rude to your clients?? Ordered icecream foe my toddler as well as our other meals, we waited for 15 min for his icecream, eventhough I have asked to organise it straight away while I am paying foe our meal. But I guess $97 of ordered dishes is not good enough to be served properly. They were to busy to get more money from next costumers in line instead of sparing just an extra min and giving us the 1 scoop of icecream foe a 3 years old! How much do we need to spend in your overpriced Cafe qith undercooked meals so you would treat your clients respectfully???? Ordered small pizza for my toddler with less sauce got it with less cheese and full of sauce. Week after week you treat your clients purely like wallets !!! Are you doing that bad?.? Or that good that you could afford loosing at once 10 people as non of us or our friends will not be going back. Disgusting, disgraceful experience, horrible service, badly cooked meals. Never again!!!!!! See less

Lovely staff, but wrong changes to meals, burning hot kids meals in too hot to touch bowls and ridiculous extra charges for things like table bread-$2 per slice to be gf when it's originally free. We used to love this place, but won't be going back. See less

The staff’s attitude was poor and hurried when delivering food. I ordered a flat white which was as bitter as a long black. The spaghetti alla panna was fair. Overall, the experience was not good. See less

Balthazar Cafe has become my absolute favourite for breakfast. Their Truffled Mushrooms on sourdough bread with halloumi and shaved parmesan is the BEST breakfast I have ever tried. Since going last Father's Day, I have continued to visit this lovely cafe on a regular basis (as well as brag to family and friends how good their Truffled Mushrooms taste...!) Their customer service is consistent, wonderful, caring and attentive. I highly recommend this cafe based on their old fashion service and incredible value. All their other meals (for lunch and dinner) are always generous and fulsome in flavour. See less

We paid $9 for a takeaway order of chips. The serving size was so small it was a complete rip off! The chips are frozen steak cut chips anyway, not hand cut in store which I'd expect for that price! They weren't even salted, I'm glad I had a couple of those tiny salt sachets from the service station in my car. Hubby and I weren't impressed, especially when we saw there was a proper fish and chip shop a few businesses down!!! This place looks nice and was certainly busy but it's so expensive, a everything on the menu was over priced. See less

Great breakfast and lunch options. Personally haven't been for dinner or had pizzas but have tried almost all the breakfast and pasta dishes, all excellent. Best to book ahead as it gets really busy. The coffee is always excellent and service friendly and efficient. On the breakfast menu I'd recommend the home made baked beans, they are my favourite there. Imagine an Italian pasta base with beans, just amazing. Give the place a go!!👍 See less

Was in the area for an appointment and looking for somewhere for a late lunch. Bssed on reviews i chose Balthazar. It was mid afternoon so not too busy. Ordered the prawn and calamari salad. It was so delicious. Prawns firm and tasty, calamari tender and delicious. Salad was mice mix of things including lots of yummy avo, and all dressed perfectly. It was the best thing I've eaten in ages. Finished with a house made cheesecake with was also delicious. Definitely go there again when I'm in the neighbourhood and recommend See less
