I've been dining here for a couple of years, the food quality hasn't changed at all. The service is fantastic. The owner/manager and his male assistant (sorry I didn't ask for your name) are attentive, friendly and provide top notch customer service. The noodles soup/dry are highly recommended. See less

Had dinner last night. Average quality food, with average service. Peeking chilli beef was overcooked and the staff were too busy answering phones and doing uber eats etc. Felt rushed and impersonal.. See less

Came in last night not realising they were closing in 5 minutes and they still took my order! Not to mention that it tasted amazing! Quality of the food was not compromised despite only having 5 minutes to cook it. Very happy :)) See less

The food from Bambusa is so divine, I quite honestly could happily live off their pan fried vegetable dumplings, and salt and pepper tofu for the rest of my life. And even when getting takeout delivered, the food always arrives neatly packaged, and still the perfect temperature. I would very highly recommend visiting, or getting takeout from Bambusa if you haven’t yet. You won’t regret it! See less

Hands down best, freshest, tastiest, 'Chinese' in Canberra. It's more than just 'Chinese'. It's indescribably Incredible. Value for money as dishes and delivery is always fantastic volume. Year in, year out, never had a meal I didn't relish from here. Staff are always amazingly friendly, no matter how busy. 6 Stars! See less

Best Laksa I’ve had in Canberra. The roast duck laksa is amazing. Would definitely recommend. Update: went again, had the crispy duck laksa again and also some pan fried pork dumplings. The pork dumplings were the best I’ve had in Canberra, though I did find the duck laksa was a little less flavourful this time. See less

If one was to summarise a complete dining experience to be 70% food (taste, presentation, authenticity of flavours, portion sizes etc.) and 30% place (decor, warmth and attitude of staff, facilities) then Bambusa is DEFINITELY hits the 100% mark. My family and I showed up there on a very busy Saturday night after being turned away from literally every other joint in the neighbourhood. Despite being at full capacity, Bambusa not only accommodated us, but made sure that we had a wonderful dining experience. Thank you so much for that, Bambusa. We had the sweet corn soup, chicken dumplings and chowmein - couldn't fault a things and ate every last morsel of. Will definitely visit again. See less

My favourite Manuka restaurant Friendly service, lovely French style cafe setting and yummy Chinese cuisine. If I eat in Manuka, it would be at Bambusa. Their Chilli Chicken and Dried Beef in Peking sauce are amazing. We try different dishes when we are in that area and love the exquisite taste each dish brings to the palate. See less

Really nice and quiet spot, really nice ambiance (thought I would never say that😂). Friendly and non intrusive staff. Had the mixed, boiled dumplings which were delicious. Perfectly chilly dipping sauce. The soup dumplings were excellent, very tasty broth. Got a half serve of the duck pancakes, which were a touch dry, but the sauce made up for it. Will be back.
