If you are looking to have a 5 star quality food and service this an experience not to be missed. As I am Greek and know about the traditional receipts. I was wonderfully surprised with the little differences which actual enhance the taste of the traditional receipts. The service from the staff and the personal attention to our needs Raj and his team excelled. Do your self a favour and drop in and give your taste buds a taste of what food should not only look good but taste of heaven. I wish you had a restaurant in Melbourne as it would be a place I would visit weekly. See you next time George T See less

Great food and wonderful service at Bani's. We ordered the meat platter for two and grilled fish (barramundi) of the day for my family of three. The fish was fresh and grilled beautifully. The meat was tender, flavourful and more than sufficient for us. Definitely a highlight of our stay in Cowes this Easter holidays. See less

Called ahead and they kept the kitchen open for our party of 9. All staff were helpful and friendly. Food allergies in our group were handled well with servers checking ingredients and making suggestions. The food was amazing, good portion sizes and traditional flavours that hit the spot. For those worried about prices check the menu online before booking. I think it was well worth it. Thank you all for the perfect end to our fantastic Phillip Island experience. See less

We went for dinner this evening and the services and food was spectacular. The staff went above and beyond always checking to make sure we were ok and did we need anything. The food was amazing. The lamb shoulder was the BEST we have ever had. Highly recommend this restaurant. See less

One of the few restaurants on Phillip Island that keeps its kitchen open past 9pm (even on a weekend). Service was great, location and ambience also great. Food is OK without being amazing, serving sizes on the small side and prices are above average. See less

Came by this restaurant quite by chance. We were booked into Cheeky Goose & they weren’t open!!! And thank goodness for that as we wouldn’t have found this little treasure. This place was exceptional. The young man that served us was fantastic - a big thank you. Food was delicious. We ordered a few plates & shared… Greek beer - is THE best!! See less

It was a Sat and we had difficulty in securing a table for dinner. Went to a couple of the listed restaurants and bistros but were told they were fully booked. Being hopefuls, we bravely stomp into Bani’s and noticed all the tables had a “a reserved” sign with names on it… except for one table , outside facing the sea. We asked if we could have that table for 3 and Raj, courteous, caring and great customer service looked into our needs. We expressed that we only wanted to have a quick dinner and he suggested that we take the table if we could finished by 7pm. Very quickly we placed our orders and our food came out within mins, cooked to the right temperature, presented in the proper manner, and service was focused “towards customers’ satisfaction”. We enjoyed the meal, enjoyed the view and most of all, enjoyed the service extended to us. Great job Raj and team… keep up the good work in representing Bani’s . See less

Had lunch the other day with some friends and I must say, we all agreed that we just had one of the best lunch/food in the island. The food was well plated & presented, the food looked appealing, the portion size was very generous and most importantly it tasted even better. Last but not the least, the service was really efficient and friendly. I will definitely make it a priority to have lunch/dinner next time I'm in the island. See less

Big Disappointment! 5 star prices of Melbourne Greek restaurants with 3 star service and 2 star food. The All Greek banquet for 2 is served with 1 main. I have never walked of restaurant and certainly never hungry! I should've read the reviews before walking-in. I recommend you go few doors down to Capri or hotel across the road. Perhaps the restaurant is catering for tourists and not Victorians who know their coffee and food damn well. See less
