the braised duck was so so so salty and meat so hard to chew, I can only had a bite then throw the rest away, btw I also had the buy one free one promotion of fried rice and chicken, both in good portion and eatable. See less

The menu is really quite authentic, none of the ‘for white people’ stuff we usually avoid as Chinese people. Buns have a distinct home made style, kind of like grandma used to make. We tried the stir fried kidney which was as surprisingly excellent, I am sure everything else is also good if they can pull kidneys off! See less

I ordered for delivery, the tofu in signature sauce, the shredded pork and celery entre, and steamed rice. It came to my house very hot and fresh. I was so happy trying this restaurant for the first time as my usual restaurants were closed that night. I will order again and dine in when I can. My 1yr old baby enjoyed the left overs the next day, she was happy trying tofu for the first time. See less

Food is just okay. I've been there 3 time, we had same dishes but different flavour 3 times. it seems chefs can't control the amount of salt they put in. Service is poor, totally agree with other comments above. I asked if there is any carbs in the dish coz I'm doing keto and try to take as less carbs as I can. Then the boss man yelled from the counter, all the dishes have corn starch, don't eat. Easy to find a carpark, you don't need to be struggled to find a car park. just checked owners reply. it's all about attitude. you guys should improve your service for sure. and you did asked me if I've got allergy for corn starch, and I replied no I don't have any. Then you told me your all dishes have corn starch, don't eat then. there could be a hundred different better way to solve this issue. And you just gave us a feeling that you had a bad day. See less

Food is ok, but service is poor. We had been told when we arrived at 6pm that we could have the table until 8 pm when next booking comes. Then we had to leave our table at 7 pm because next booking came 1 hour early. No appology for inconvience caused to us. No alternative offered until we asked if we could continue to eat on a smaller table. In the end, we shifted our table and this new group sat on our first table for 10min then decided to use different table. More than half of the restaurant tables are empty. See less

Ordered fried noodles for lunch. I thought you can't go wrong with a simple dish and for $13 dollars you'd expect a tasty meal. However, I received the worst tasting noodle dish in my life. Tasted like watered down soy sauce and vinegar! You'd find better at a Chinese buffet. And they don't have bags for your takeaway meal so you have to hold a burning hot container with your bare hands... Would rate 0 if it was possible. Avoid this place!!! See less

Really delicious food here from northeast China. We loved northeast food when we lived in China so we were thrilled to find Bao's. We had a potato dish, a cauliflower dish and a chicken dish, all delicious. Amy is a great hostess. We walked to Bao's but there is lots of parking available outside the door. Looking forward to going back again soon. See less
