Great spot by the water. It was a rainy morning when we visited but still pleasant outlook. I had the banana bread with lemon ricotta. It was OK. Banana bread was more like a spicy cake. My daughter had the B&T roll (good) and my husband the Breakfast Wrap. I also ordered a side of bacon and one poached egg. Our 3 orders arrived but no sides. When I queried this with the girl I had ordered from at the counter, she tells me that they had put it in the Breakfast Wrap (????!!!). Ummm why??? I wanted to have this as an extra with my banana bread. Not my husband. I said side, not with the wrap. They nevertheless gave some to me on a plate, but I just couldn't believe they would do this, without asking. Coffee was nice. See less

The nicest Cafe staff of all time! Delicious food and the best coffee in Canberra. Totally recommend the mushrooms! However, what sticks out most is the genuine kindness of the staff. Bean and Table has quickly become my favourite cafe in Canberra. See less

Came here as they serve many gluten free options and was highly recommended by the local coeliac group. Avocado toast could've used another slice of toast with the avocado and two eggs. Hot cakes were just small cakes rather than thick pancakes as imagined... two cakes was too much, one would've been enough. The coffee was a really nice blend. Also, the gluten free eggs & bacon bun was apparently delicious too. See less

Great little Cafe this one. Great spot on the foreshore and was the only one open on a public holiday. I was completely surprised how quick the food arrived. Great quality and presentation. Prices are a bit on the high side but you definitely get what you pay for. See less

Menu is decent, coffee was average. Cappuccino was basically a flat white with chocolate on top. Meals present well. If you prefer the thinner pancake stack over over thick and fluffy pancake then this place isn't for you. Big breakfast was as you would expect from the description except except the hash browns, which were essentially potato cakes. Not crispy or even remotely similar to what I would consider a traditional hash brown. Though, they are arguably a healthier version. I would come back here if I came to Kingston and the place I wanted to go to was full. Venue is dog friendly and have outdoor heaters. See less

Good breakfast spot at the edge of the Kingston Foreshore. It’s the first one you come to and if the patronage is any indication, popular with the locals. We had to wait a little while for a table, but the staff were friendly and worked hard to find us a space. Service was quick and efficient and we didn’t feel rushed to finish. The coffee was good and worth a second cup. Food was ok, and the helpings generous, but perhaps because it was so busy, not as tasty as I would have liked. Good enough to give it another go next time I walk the foreshore. See less

After looking around on the foreshore, it seemed like this was one of only a few places open. The menu is fairly standard faire; lots of avocado, eggs, bacon, pastries and breads. You need to order at the counter but service to the table is quick. The food was fresh and tasty. I have had better mushrooms though. I loved that my tea was provided in a pot and loose leaf. The coffee is ok. Acceptable by most standards. See less

Located on the Kingston waterfront this cafe was one of only three open for breakfast on Monday morning. Food and drink quality was excellent but service a bit off but all staff friendly. You order at the counter and despite ordering mushrooms on sour dough I received smashed avocado with poached eggs. Despite this, the food quality and position size were excellent. See less
