We had the pleasure to visit this newly opened japanese restaurant in South Yarra for lunch the other day and got to try some dishes from their menu.
The Mixed Tempura was crunchy and not oily at all, while the Sushi Sashimi Bento was perfectly fresh. Both the Pork and the Chicken Katsu Curry Don were tasty, crunchy on the outside and the curry was not too spicy. The Seafood Don is a must try for the seafood lovers, but you have some other delicious options like the Unadon that is an unagui don or the Teriyaki Salmon Don that is as saucy as you would want it to be. If you are a pork fan you will love the Spicy Pork Belly Don, the pork belly and the sauce are just perfect for each other.
There are some secret dishes like the Senbei, that is a kind of prawn giant cracker with a whole prawn inside. Another secret dish is the Beef Volcano, made of raw beef slices and a raw egg on top. An absolutely must try is their Mistery Box, it comes with both savoury and sweet but the content will be a surprise for you.
This place is great for a quick lunch stop and their location is great, right in front of South Yarra train station. The staff was very helpful and the service was as quick as it should be. See less
