Forget what you think a brewery is as Bentspoke breaks all the rules. A simply marvellous selection of Canberra's finest craft beers from a delicious chocolate porter through to their award winning Crankshaft IPA all served with a smile from the friendly staff who are always keen to let you sample some of their newer brews - try the truffle infused beer ! However the surprise for me was the food. An excellent variety of dishes from pulled pork through to an awesome vegetable curry. Place Bentspoke Brewery on you must-visit list for lunch or dinner. Ill start with the good first. The staff were lovely and really helpful. Really knowledgeable of the beers (which was necessary because the signage was not at all informative) However after making a reservation here for our night out with family we were so excited to try the beer and food and have a nice, screen free dinner. Unfortunately we couldn't do this because they make you scan a qr code and access the menu online- no physical menus. So many people just staring like zombies at their phones which killed the atmosphere. Luckily one family member had snuck a phone with them so we all handed that round and selected our options. When we went to most of us only had cash and they don't accept cash. It meant 2 people were able to eat while the rest of us Sat there hungry. Once they realised they would be the only ones eating they tried to cancel but couldn't. Luckily the person who brought a card with them shouted us a beer. Super disappointing- but we went elsewhere after and got some amazing kebabs that were way better than the food looked there. See less

Friendly staff, with a beer selection to please everyone. Accomodating wine list, including local wines. Food is consistently good and even if they sell out (because this place is popular!) there’ll have something else on the menu to cater. See less

I've visited the Braddon Brew Pub several times and have always had a great time. Nice food and awesome brews.....highly recommend popping in there if your visiting Canberra. See less

I asked for the hottest wings and they provided some really hot wings that were tasty as well. Cannot ask for more. 5 star service great beer and food. Thank you for a great time See less

Used to be very good, but these days it is nearly impossible to get a table even for one or two people on a Wednesday or Friday night. Staff don't seem to try very hard and I even got in trouble for just popping upstairs to check! Turns out there was room up there for me so not sure why I wasn't supposed to look if the staff weren't checking for me. Beer is tasty, though. If you can actually try it. See less

What a nice experience and I am certainly going back for more. We went on Canberra day with our pup in tow. It was the only Cafe we found open in Gungahlin and decided to stop by for breakfast. The place was flat out busy, but the staff were ever so friendly and polite. The breakfast was lovely and we enjoyed every bit while sitting out in the sunshine. My doggie enjoyed meeting other people and their pets, all while we sipped our coffee. I have added this place to my comfort food list. Will I go back....oh yes I would....and will take a few friends next time. See less

Lunch special for $16.50 was not bad value. The meal wasn’t particularly to my taste though. Might come back another day to try one of the other lunch specials. See less
