Polite, friendly and prompt staff. Good selection of dishes to choose from, we had lovely healthy meals with lots of veggies and good hot coffee. They also have a delicious selection of cakes and slices. Outdoor seating as well as indoor is available. See less

Good food but had unfortunate experience with an order and got charged for food that we didn’t want or have. I ordered some wedges and I thought the server asked if I wanted it seasoned and I said yes (very loud inside and was hard to hear). They came out with a Caesar salad and I said sorry I didn’t order that?? They came to me three times about it. I ended up apologising saying I must of misheard seasoned for ceaser? The last lady to speak to me about the salad seemed annoyed about it even though I had apologised and explained it must of been a mishear. They charged us for the salad even though we weren’t given it and we had not ordered it. My friend didn't want to argue about it and paid for it. Mistakes happen and it was unfortunate that we were sneakily charged for something we didn’t want, ordered or ate. All though I can understand the staff are under pressure as the cafe was busy and I respect people who work under the pressure of hospitality, it wasn’t great having this experience. The first server who took our order was very pleasant though and the food was lovely. Disappointed my friend paid for food that we didn’t order or eat. See less

Amazing experience. Our group of 8 had the best breakfast. My wife and I had the big breakfast and it didn’t disappoint, it was huge. Friendly staff and perfect food. Couldn’t recommend the Cafe highly enough. Thank you. See less

Have been coming to this family owned and operated café business for a number of years now. They have recently purchased the shop adjacent to them to expand their seating area which is fantastic! I'd usually go for the famous ricotta pancakes however its not an everyday food, if I had the appetite the big breakfast always goes down a treat. Love the outdoor seating area, just a very pleasant enjoyable way to spend time. I've had to reduce my rating after a recent decision by management to remove the patron restroom. I understand that's its likely for covid reasons but still a little disappointing, especially when it's wet out. See less

This was our fifth time to dine at Blackbird and yesterday wasn’t a great experience. There’s hiccups with orders and staffs seems don’t know the table number. I suggest to have the table number visible to the orders. We arrived about 9:30, ordered coffees and took awhile to served roughly after 30mins for the coffee. I can understand that they’re busy and just came out of restrictions but they should have a proper system to flow the orders properly. There’s a couple who ordered a coffee and waited for looong time. There’s no sympathy from the staff or even offer a courtesy to acknowledge customer’s frustration. Hope the service will improve. Great food , all day breakfast, soups, salads, wedges, smoothies, and much more on the menu. Fast service and friendly staff , they even offered to wrap up our leftovers to take home. Indoor and outdoor seating. See less
