Really disappointing. Walked in (2 of us), stood around awkwardly for about a minute while wait staff walked by us without acknowledgement, figured it must be a “choose your own table” kinda place so we sat down at a seemingly free one (others had reserved signs but not this one), to be promptly told by a young guy “you can’t sit there sorry it’s now booked”. Ok then we got up and the guy walked away as we asked “are there any tables free”. Went to the front counter and asked if we could get a table, the person at the counter (who was very nice) asked the same young guy, and he said “no sorry, but there’s a bench”. No problems. Gave coffee orders (good coffee), but then waited about 15 mins between getting our coffee and someone returning to take our orders, despite making eye contact multiple times, signalling to staff and even asking directly as they walked by if we could order. And no, it wasn’t very busy. Food itself wasn’t bad, a little bland and quite overpriced and one of those meals where you’re hungry half an hour later. Just bad service all around (no asking about second coffee, walked away when I asked for one, had to chase up cutlery). See less
