Our family enjoyed our time at Blume restaurant for my 60th Birthday very much. We found the degustation meal to be quite outstanding and they catered well for the nut allergy. We were lucky to come off the waiting list to partake in the late lunch on a Sunday. It was a wonderful experience and a fantastic meal, which we can honestly say has not been matched in a very long time. Both of us enjoyed every dish on the degustation menu, so much so that we would happily have it again the very next day. In fact, the memory of the dishes linger and make me salivate as I write this! The staff were exceptional. Although the Head Chef was away, the other chefs clearly managed the kitchen magnificently, keeping the wonderful dishes coming in a full restaurant with every table at a different stage of the menu, all the while managing to chat and joke with customers. The ladies in the restaurant were very welcoming and friendly, perfectly balancing the need to be attentive, yet allowing us to enjoy the food by ourselves. We have recommended Blume to all our friends, and can only wish that we lived closer! See less

We have LOVED everything about our experience at Blume. (been twice so far) Ambiance is perfect, a minimalist approach that is finished with such elegance. Each dish was innovative but simple & absolutely delicious. Local produce is skilfully celebrated, & Chef Jack's pairing of wines brilliant. And all of this in the heart of the glorious Scenic Rim. We have not stopped talking about our lunch at Blume Restaurant yesterday. Such a beautiful space & serving the most delicious food with wonderful service. Jack’s skills & expertise with food is astounding! He has created such an amazing menu - We loved every single dish & will definitely return. Next time we will stay overnight in the church & make a weekend of it. We also were thrilled to receive our sketch from Angus, what an absolute treat. Couldn’t recommend this place highly enough. Thank you to all the staff that made our visit here today so memorable. From the warm welcome, gorgeous fresh flower arrangements on each table, stunning hand-made ceramics and of course the incredible food everything has been so well executed it’s a very special destination indeed! Our experience at Blume was like no other. The food and drink were exceptional with a set menu that was brilliantly curated from mostly local Scenic Rim produce. Jack Stuart and his team have done an amazing job at creating this masterpiece of a restaurant in the heart of the Scenic Rim. I would highly recommend this restaurant to others. See less

Jack Stuart and his small Blume team have done a wonderful job of creating a stylish and welcoming environment. The calming, minimalist decor is very sympathetic to the era and character of the historic building. The tastefully painted timber and ornate pressed tin of the walls and ceiling, along with the heritage skylights flooding the interior space with bright daylight for lunchtime service do the talking for the decor. And with even the crockery handmade by one of Jack's family members, it speaks to his dedication to creating a unique dining experience using the finest of Scenic Rim produce in an innovative and surprising degustation menu. The food was excellent and the wine list is a discerning mix of local, national and international selections. The township of Boonah must be very proud that one of their accomplished sons has returned to put the town on the map for destinational dining, and is helping to cement Boonah's burgeoning reputation as a 'foodies' shopping paradise for Scenic Rim local produce and great regional shopping hospitality. If you're heading to Boonah to dine at Blume, go while the Butcher and Veggie shops are open and take your esky. Even the local IGA supermarket is worth a visit as a great example of how grocery retail should support regional produce and consumer product offerings. See less

The best food I’ve ever tasted. That may sound like an exaggeration but I was honestly blown away by the flavours in every dish brought out 🤤. I’m so glad that I was able to enjoy Blume for my dinner this evening. The way that the restaurant has been decorated is bright and stylish, and the staff are welcoming and warm. The set menu uses a great selection of produce and is made up of eight different courses, plus the most deliciously soft bread. 🥖 ⭐️ The iced tomato and lemon verbena is really light and fresh, but still full of flavour. I really enjoyed this. 🤩🤩🤩 The Rainbow trout was sooooo incredibly delicious that I think I will be back for that in particular. It has been confit in brown butter and is so perfectly cooked that it just melted in my mouth. These two dishes were my stand out favourites of the night!! The presentation of the meals is minimalist, but full of the chefs own unique style. The entire menu demonstrates this and it was wonderful to experience the individuality that has been created. A real stand out and very refreshing !! I like it.💛 It is evident that the owner/the chef is someone who loves their hometown and is extremely passionate about cooking.
