Coffee overpriced for a takeaway coffee. Senior staff member needs to modify her explanation and voice level when telling customers why their advertised price is not the same as the charged price. She shouted an explanation at me in a most unfriendly manner. Seems the same issue was brought up by a previous reviewer but nothing has changed, except perhaps the frustration level of the staff member who has to make the same excuse again and again. Very unpleasant experience! "Good set up but an issue with your sign not representing the true cost of coffee- it's misleading. It's all take away so the sign should post these prices." In a shop, if I order or choose something, I am supposed to be charged the price that the product is advertised at or get the item for free. Other, more junior staff pleasant as always! See less

Perfect stop when riding the new Bokarina beach coastal bike path. Coffee and small menu were very good. Hot and cold drinks. I had the banana smoothy and a frappe last visit which were both excellent. Previously had coffee and their date scone which were very tasty, as good a scone i have had and i am used to home cooked. Only shade is in park beside or observation deck at beach unless you are there when the 2 Real Estate offices beside the Bok are closed so you can sit on their front balconies. The girls that work here are so wonderful that I always leave feeling better than when I arrived ❤ We can purchase coffee anywhere these days, and there's no doubt about the great Merlo coffee served, but their service is what makes this place stand out, and why i support them regularly.
