Was excited to try what people in other reviews have said to be the best burger in Canberra. Unfortunately it didn't live up to the hype for me, don't get me wrong, the food was hot fresh and delicious, service was outstanding. My burger was great for a regular tasting burger, nothing outstanding. I wasn't a fan at all of the buns, seemed to just be regular store bought white buns, same ones you get from woolworths. Brioche & potato buns all day for me. The mixed leaf greens, which I thought was odd, again, the same sort of mix you get from woolworths. The Spanish onion, which again wasn't a huge issue but there's no option for grilled onions, in my opinion is so much nicer then raw. Overall the food was hot and fresh and the service was fantastic, I'm just picky with my burger and unfortunately didn't love it. Hence why I gave 4 stars and not 3/2/1. See less

Probably the best burger I've had in Canberra so far. Love treating myself to brodburger every now and then, bringing a few friends. Burgers are a good size, chips are pretty great too although not the best I've had. See less

We’ve been having Brodburger for 3 years now. It’s the same every time — amazing ! Top quality, you get exactly what you pay for, maybe a little extra. My favourites are the (OMV) Oh My Vegan burger, and the Piri Piri chicken burger; of course paired with onion rings! See less

How long does it take to make a burger and fries? Apparently 50 minutes if the amount of time that it took between ordering at the counter and receiving my burger is to go by. Atrocious wait times for dine in (I overheard a 40 minute wait for take away). I understand it’s a Friday night in the time of COVID but it doesn’t excuse the fact that it took just under an hour to put a piece of cooked meat stacked with salad between two pieces of bread, and deep fry some potatoes. Though I assume some take away orders were initially ordered before us, my partner and I watched numerous others come in to order and receive their food before us, suggesting that takeaway orders were being prioritised over dine in. When we finally did receive our food the fries were over cooked and lukewarm, and the burgers did not warrant the praise other customers have given them - they were standard at best. The quality of the food that we received suggests that we may as well have ordered to takeaway. Customer service was sub par with no initial warning of wait time (given the length this should not fall on the customer to ask), no follow up despite literally sitting in front of the counter, and no apology upon final delivery of food. I’m not normally one to complain but my entire experience was just appalling. Perhaps it would have been different during the afternoon or another week day but I am not willing to risk another lengthy wait time to be disappointed again. I would not recommend Brodburger as a burger place of choice. See less

It is a staple of Canberra culture and absolutely great. Great food. Friendly service. Pet friendly. Great location. Every time we go with our Labrador, the friendly staff pet him and bring him tubs of water. Much appreciated! The food is great, and the service is always amazing. I recommend the capital, fries and onion rings, but everything is great! There can be a bit of a long wait from time to time, but the food is worth it and the atmosphere makes the time fly! See less

Decent sized burgers and good variety of options and cheeses, I wish they had beer or cider on tap as it would make this place that extra bit better. Can get quite busy on the evenings so expect some wait time to get your order or book in advance. See less

Magnificent, delicious, mouth watering burgers with an extensive range from which to choose. Eat inside or out under large umbrellas. Light hearted joyful atmosphere sometimes with live entertainment. Very popular because it's very good. See less

Friendly service but average burger at a premium price. Overcooked meat patty with zero grill marks on it or flavour....I'm guessing they microwaved it or they are just lazy/incompetent. Undercooked bacon with no seared parts either. Pretty disappointing from the flagship store. This is the result of expanding too quickly, no quality control. If it had been busy I might have accepted it but it was very quiet there. Not worth the money, can make better at home for half the price. See less

Great place for a decent burger and drink. Lots of good options including veggie' vegan, fish, gluten free - there's something for everyone. Good French fries with sauce and Burgers also have a small option. Either way, there's a good balance of flavour, sauce and it's not too much or too little. Just right - as Goldilocks would say. Covered outdoor seating is available with heaters nearby on days that are cooler. See less

Great burgers and fries. A good place to get a great freshly made burger. Seating inside and out. Heaters and temporary cover has been added to the outdoor seating. If in Kingston, definitely worth stopping by for lunch. See less

If Sydney have Chubby burger Canberra have brobuger! One of best burger in Canberra! It’s kind of hard to find a restaurant in a first time. It was really tasty and juicy also sooo big!! Friendly staff!!Price a little high but you won’t regret it! Totally worth it! See less

Great location. Delicious burgers - tasty beef patty, good quality ingredients and damper-like buns. Sizeable portion. Onion rings were crispy and delicious also. Also like the system where they sms you when your order is ready so you don't have to wait around aimlessly. The estimate of 15 min wait on a Sunday lunch was spot on. See less

I was here last 6-7 years ago and went back recently and it's still a burger place worth visiting ❤️ We ordered a lot of burgers to share, so we got the Brod Burger, Salmon, Chicken and Double Cheese with some onion rings and 2 bags of fries. We made the mistake of ordering when we were hungry so we thought we could finish 4 large burgers between 4 of us when we should have just gotten a baby size instead. The bags of fries were also much larger than we expected, one probably would have been enough for us! All in all, the burgers were delicious, chicken is my top choice! Great avo spread and the burger isn't too heavy in flavour, the rest also had great sauce too, super delicious 😊 See less

Burger joint with typical fresh ingredients and hot fries. Wide variety of burger options (lamb burger and capital burger were our favourites). Fries were a little cold and not crispy by the time we got them. Portions were very generous though so you definitely leave feeling very full. Limited seating so many people take away. See less
