the food is fine. not great but fine. but out of four orders all were wrong in some way even after attempts to fix. At the premium prices of the store (almost five guys level), I would expect my food hot, and right. the place does custom burgers but doesn't seem to be able to handle it. Understaffed yet constantly taking new online and dinner orders like a episode of kitchen nightmares. do not recommend. See less

Used to eat here every week. It was so good - fast and delicious and great, really great service. Then, they changed hands. I’ve never seen a place go downhill so fast. Slow service, getting orders wrong, burgers not as good, fries cold. So long Burger Hero. I’ll remember the good times. See less

Burgers are delicious, with well-seasoned patties that are cooked perfectly. Great flavour, but maybe a bit heavy on the sauce, so they're pretty messy! Bring a towel. :D See less

First time in a Burger Hero and the staff where lovely and very warm, seriously awesome. The good was awesome and we definitely made a mess. You can pick from the typical menu or simply build your own. Orders don't typically take long at all and the portions are massive. Can't go wrong with a massive burger, chips and a drink. Especially when all the other eateries are flooded with people and massive wait times. See less

Only been here once, but had a very memorable experience. I ordered the southern smoke burger and chilli cheese fries. The burger was very filling and the fires had the perfect amount of spice. Both were delicious. I went in with a large group of people and despite the many orders, the staff were welcoming, friendly, and very quick in getting the orders too us. To top it all of, when I accidentally knocked over a can of soft drink, the staff were quick to clean it up and gave me another one on the house. Overall a great experience with delicious food. Burger was really good and reasonably priced, waffle fries were some of the best I've had but unfortunately the mac n cheese was really bad. I'd never had a bad mac n cheese until now but I'd strongly recommend to steer clear. Everything else was great though! See less

This was a place we decided to visit from a random google search of what to have for dinner in Canberra 😂 Upon arrival there was a friendly atmosphere. When placing a order they where very polite and read the order back, oh my god I was shocked at how cheap it was ! 2 x big burgers and a large waffle chips 2x drink $50 wow! Food was on the table fast for how busy it was! There is parking across the road, bonus. Now what I’m really here to show you is the burger! Best filthy burgers in town! Big portions, friendly atmosphere, serves beers and awesome service. Took mum there after shopping for mothers day to share 2 burgers between 3 people and the owners gave us free servings of waffle fries and drinks! They said it was for mothers day but we didn't see any signs advertising that. That is bloody brilliant! I'll be back with mates =) See less

Stopped in here for a late lunch before heading to the airport. The shop was clean, there was no wait, and the staff were friendly. We were keen to try the burger with the glazed doughnut buns, but it wasn't available. Instead we tried the 'Cheese-gasm' which was very good - although perhaps we should have shared it! We will definitely be back on our next trip to Canberra. See less

Just tried the new burger from Burger Hero and it's not bad at all, 3/5. The meat tastes like the NextGen patties which I enjoy. The only downside was the cheese, it doesn't melt and unfortunately has a rubbery texture and 0 flavour. Size is good a good value for money. The waffle chips are a solid 5/5 though 😍 See less
