Has Become my Favourite Bakery with Fantastic Coffee. Staff are Lovely always Friendly and Greet you with a smile. Pies and Croissants I would highly recommend very tasty. Full of Flavour, Fresh and warm. Great Service and really nice Bakery Treats Definitely worth the drive. See less

Thu, such a great baker, made an amazing 45cm x 30 cm x 12cm cake .. filled with fresh cream and strawberries along with fantastic piping and topping to make a friends retirement so special. I was so blown away with how the cake was .. and how little Thu asked. The cake was so tasty, so fresh. Thu, you made a lady very, very happy after almost 37-years service. Thank you. For the locals, wow, we have a great person right on our doorstep who can do almost anything. Give her ago. You will not go past a really lively person who will make what you are seeking. See less

We have been going to Butters ever since they opened and their coffee is consistently perfect - it’s never burnt and it’s made so smoothly. Yet to have a coffee in Canberra that tastes as good. Their pastry is the most buttery and fresh pastry there is so all pastries and pies taste amazing. The carrot cake, custard tarts and the Nutella blonde are some of our favorite sweet treats. Delicious chunky pies that are full of chunks of beef. The puff pastry top is so light and crispy it just melts in your mouth. These are THE BEST pies I've found anywhere. The service is friendly and welcoming. This one should definitely be on your 'must do' list of places to go. Highly recommended!! See less

The food here is extraordinary! The meat pies are without a doubt the best in Canberra and the pastry is to die for! Staff there are so friendly and always happy! Great coffee too! Everything is definitely worth the price and I'll be coming back there quite often :) See less

I have been a few times. Coffee is good. The service is great. I am American so I didn't know that you aren't supposed to eat a mince pie with a spoon. Meat pies are apparently not my thing. Their pastries are delicious. See less

I've tried quite a few pies in Canberra as I love pies. Haven't found any better than these yet. The chunky steak is my favourite so far - really full of filling and beautiful pastry especially on the top... the bottom could be a bit firmer). My only suggestion would be to serve them hotter, especially now that winter has arrived. Very friendly owners who are just starting out. See less
