Jacob gave us some amazing service tonight! He went above and beyond to make 5 star experience. The burgers were super good, notably the fried chicken was crunchy but still perfectly moist on the inside. It tasted healthy and fresh. Chips were good aswell. Okay meal served in a cardboard box, even though our order was for dine in. Drinking nice hot coffee is so enjoyable, but not from a handleless cup. Not sure why anyone would buy cups without handles that are too hot to hold. Knives and forms are bamboo and hidden from sight. Condiments are centrally located with no advice. Only a few tables available at normal height. Otherwise it is sitting up on bar stools at high tables. Okay for takeaway but eating in is a major exercise. Other options close by make dining in much simpler and more enjoyable. See less

My wife and I walked into this coffee shop – burger shop hybrid in Holt today. We were very happy with the service and food. Their standard cheeseburger was large, moist and flavourful, but the Sweet Baby Jeebus was a godsend! That crispy chicken breast and maple flavour was elevated by the Frank's Hot mayo. Soft brioche buns and fresh lettuce just added to the appeal. Excellent service as well from Maddi onsite, super friendly and efficient, and we loved how familiar she was with the shop and the menu. Overall, a really great experience and we'd come back even if it's a 25-minute drive away from our place! 😅 See less

Best burgers and chips in Canberra. Hands down. Cheeseburger and bz Mack are best. And it's rare that I'd recommend a cheeseburger as the best burger on a menu. See less

Soggy buns!!, expensive for portion size, bad service, went when it was not busy at all - but order was still taken wrong. Told server twice not to add 'sour onion' on one of the burgers- still got the onion. Tried for first time, likely won't be back, guess it was okay at best, just wasn't worth it.. See less

I feel a big thank you is in order. Around 11ish today, I past by and ordered a breaky Ben (I think it's called) with salmon for my mum gravy and chips and the veg salad for me. I took them into the hospital where mum is struggling with tasteless food and suffering from an overload of antibiotics, infection and Chemotherapy. She ate it all and watching her... Tried not to stare, eat it with joy was exactly what I wanted. Thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart. See less

I haven’t had breakfast here (only lunch) so I can’t speak for the whole menu but this is a very nice burger place just down the road from the Kippax shops. Very good. We were part of a large group and everyone's drinks came out quickly. I tried a vegan chocolate cookie, haven't tried one before but it was delicious. Everyone enjoyed their coffees and teas. See less

Had really high expectations after seeing all the extremely positive reviews! The ‘best chips ever’ are more like ‘greasiest chips ever’ (maybe because they’re ‘twice cooked’ according to the menu), the cheeseburger was good but tasted the same as any fast food franchise cheeseburger, the hick burger was disappointing (dry and bland) and the onion rings were ok but also extremely oily. Was really keen to support something local but unfortunately won’t go back. See less
