I was excited to try this restaurant out. Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience. We waited for almost an hour for our food (apparently the order never went through on their end). When I finally got my food, the prawns in my pasta were off and I couldn’t even eat the dish. Very disappointed in the whole experience. See less

Great pasta and pizza but paying $39 for a bottle of lambrusco, (7.99 at Dan Murphy's ) left a sour taste. So 4 stars for the meal but 2 stars for overpriced vino. Averages out to a 3 star experience😐 See less

What a beautiful family Italian restaurant this is to go to I think I’ve eaten everything off the menu from pizza the pasta steak, & seafood it’s all amazing hence why I go all the time I’ve taken my family and it’s also a really great place to hang out with your girlfriends as well at night I try and get there a little bit earlier because it’s always so busy and then after reading the back of the menu I realised that the family have been in business for over 50 years that’s why they’re always so busy I guess I’ll see you all there it’s my go to Place . Unimpressed would be the one word I’d use to sum up my visit. I found there to be a severe lack of sauce on my pizza, on top of the fact the mushrooms used were very obviously on there way to the bin. For the casual style service and quality of food, the prices are insane. I had a taste of my partners lasagne and found it to be incredibly salty. Pizza is a hard one to mess up but definitely found myself leaving most of mine uneaten. Would definitely recommend Universal restaurant over here, as there menu is identical, just reasonably priced & better quality food & service. See less

When I informed management that the food arrived cold I was lectured and told how lucky I was cause a lot of restaurants where closed and told not to come back then told to get out. Very sad how a customer comment can be treated with such anger. Will take their advice and will not go back. See less

This is the worst restaurant on Lygon st. Right from the start the waitress was rude. I ordered a carbonara and when it came out it was bland, had no taste. When I told the waiter this she said sorry we don’t put salt on anything here and you still have to pay for it. Not impressed . We also had a steak and it also had no Seasoning and was clearly frozen before cooked (not fresh) the service is terrible very rude would not recommend to anyone ever to come dine here.if I could give negative stars I would. We sat outside on a cool winter night but under the heater is was delightful. Watching the vibe of what Lygon Street has to offer always has me begging for a street view. Dinner was excellent with two medium sized pizzas that were extremely tasty with the right amount of toppings. Plus they arrived within ten minutes from ordering. House red and good conversation made it a successful night. Wheelchair friendly but not the toilets. Kid friendly. Parking ? It’s Lygon Street - good luck but maybe the parking pixies will be kind to you. Enjoy. See less
