It was a wonderful experience from the beginning a really friendly staff, The food was more than delicious I had an Arepa for dinner called La bomba filled up with pulled pork, beef and chicken. The most special was taste the home made flavour that make me feel I was in my own country (Colombia). 100% I’ll be back and Why I recommend it: -Portion size-price. -Taste of the food. -Quality. -Customer service. 5 stars. Very authentic Latin American food! As someone who is native Latin American, it was amazing to find a place with authentic ingredients and overall food. Anyone that complains about the prices doesn’t understand the cost of import for the quality you get, you’re not getting store bought knock-off here. I’ll definitely be coming back for more, and the latin market aspect of the place is a very good source for anyone that wants to try and make their own dishes at home. See less

I paid almost $15 for this tiny thing called Amiga! It was literally four bites. No side dish with it, like, chips, salad or even a drink. Tasty but overpriced! You can get a filling Vietnamese salad with chicken or pork from Rolling Saigon next door for the same price. C'mon guys, get real with your prices! I don't think I will be coming back. See less

Hole in the wall type restaurant, so not a lot of room to dine in but a really good vibe when you can. Food is outstanding, service equally as good. Will definitely be back, wish I'd stopped by sooner. See less

Have ordered from Candela twice and both meals have been absolutely fantastic. Ordered the Pernil and the Pabellon for both orders and they were absolutely showstopping. Meat was cooked beautifully, cheese melted just right, bread crispy on the outside and soft on the inside - perfect feasts both times. Cannot recommend enough if you love Latin American food or want to try something new! A very good experience for the tastebuds! 😛 See less

I have been to Candela many times over the last couple of years and it’s always a fantastic experience. Recently I was lucky to celebrate my birthday there and my big patacon was mouthwatering! I recommend the Candela and Amiga arepas but if you are hungry... go for La Bomba (the bomb)! It has everything! Perniburger is my favourite burger with pulled Pork. Keep an eye out for the special LatinAmerican menus on weekends. Last time I scored a very delicious meal called “lechona”. See less

Forget Tacos and Burritos in terms of great Latin American food - Arepas, Patacones, Tequeños and Yuca Fries is where it's at! The food tastes awesome and is perfect for occasions where you want to sit back and chill out! I could not recommend this restaurant enough! Great, traditional food. Order lots of different things to experience as much as possible! We had Patacons, Empanadas, several Arepas and nachos. The house lemonade is delicious and helps cut through some of the heavy flavours. See less

Had too high expectations and turned out to be a little bit upset. Foods are bit stingy. U have to order more than 2 dishes to become full. In that case it is not cheap at all. Very good service. The deco looks good from outside but when sitting in there u will find the ventilation is not good. P.S. Many popular things may be sold out by super time. See less
