For a takeaway shop the food is pretty good, it's reasonably priced, and reading some of the other reviews I agree with majority of the people that have taken the time to review it, but i do have to laugh at the posts that comment on people smoking out the front, from what I can read it doesn't sound like it's the staff smoking out the front, more like customers, well come on people for 1. It's Logan, do you not live in this city, just look around the city on any given day, that's just the way it is here, is it right hell no but really would you say something to 1 of these people. 2. That wouldn't be the shops problem to police but would be a complex management problem to police and in force. 3. If the food was that horrible and smoking out the front was such a OHS Hazard why wouldn't you make a complaint with the local council, it would have taken roughly around the same time as it did to write your review? But hey that's just my thoughts..... See less

As said many times here, the smoking out the front just stinks and is a big turnoff. The steak sandwich that my wife had was apparently very nice and the meat was tender and tasty. The burger that I had however did not taste nice. The meat did not taste like beef! The chips were done perfectly with a nice crunch and fluffy insides. The person serving (Cath?) appeared grumpy and I did not feel welcome, but seemed happier when handing me the food. I'll be back for the chips, they were really good. See less

The food here is grose. I dont no what any of these people are on about that said it's nice food. And to make it even more sickening, everyone sits outside chain smoking. They look like grubs to put it nicely. I cant even take my kids to the corner shop because of the smell of smoke constantly lingering around the place. Chips weren't even cooked properly everything was doughy and inedible. Both times trying here has been atrocious. Even ringing to make a phone order is awkward and unprofessional. If I could give 0 stars I would. It's a shame because I'm only a street away from this place. See less

I don’t usually write reviews but after eating fish from here I felt sick straight after and spent all night vomiting. Will never eat there again. Service was ok but food made me so sick. See less

Come for food very occasionally. On this occasion the staff looked tired, looked liked they didn't want to be there, smoking out front immediately after serving a customer when they're waiting for food. Came home and I was severely disappointed, I had looked forward to some sea scallops and got potato scallops instead -_- Told me it was my fault for not clarifying I decided to not argue. There has been times in the past that hospitality has been cheerful and homely so I have taken that into consideration in my rating. I feel service has been deteriorating over time and now there are plenty of other Chippies that value your presence for the same quality of food. I know it is a humble chippie but it still needs a better level professionalism is needed especially when interacting with customers. See less
