I cannot speak highly enough about Chapter And Verse Bar and Lounge. Stunning fit out, Amazing cocktails and meals. The staff are amazing and extremely professional, The service is world class. I would like to thank our waiter Belle, She went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience, not only for us, But everyone there with out hesitation. We will be back! See less

Exceeded our expectations above and beyond for food and drink. We were staying in the hotel and went here on a number of occasions and all the staff made us feel so comfortable. Taylor, Grant, Alex and Jiri were amazing and the cocktails were especially delicious. See less

Our first stay back at this hotel in over 15 years and wow! From our arrival Caterina was exceptional, welcoming knowledgeable and just down to earth! We celebrated New Year’s Eve at chapter and verse and we’re looked after by a true hospitality professional. Vibrant and professional, Belle Terranova was first class. Her attention to detail with every guest truely made our stay. Belle is an asset to your Hotel and one of the main reasons we continued to visit Chapter and Verse. The food from breakfast lunch and dinner has been exceptional so well done to the teams in the kitchen. We will certainly be back during 2021! See less

Pizzas are ok, nothing to write home about , dough is not homemade and not very convinced it's wood fired, most of the young kids working there are good except for a young blonde girl who is snobbish and very unhelpful! See less

If you fancy a quiet coffee away from the usual cafes this place is just the spot. Has large comfy couches and chairs, very pleasant view out to the pool and gardens, and it's quiet.! Nice to meet friends here, then there's the High Tea, highly recommend. See less

We were there for a High Tea to celebrate a friend's birthday. The moment we stepped into the hotel, we were greeted by a friendly attendant who read our body language perfectly and pointed us to the Chapter & Verse Bar. We were offered seats to wait for our party which soon arrived. The complimentary glass of wine was a surprise and a wonderful accompaniment to the delicious tiers of tantalizing delicacies which soon arrived. The scones were far above your average scone. Tea or coffee followed soon and it was a relaxing afternoon. A waterdragon or two, which were harmless, added a touch of authentic Australia to the outdoor setting. On a hot day, I would recommend an indoor setting. See less

Terrible music. We tried this bas whilst staying at hotel over the weekend. It was really painful as I never expect to hear trance music at a 5 star hotel bar lounge. Most of the people were older people where were all complaining about the music. I actually approached the DJ and he confirmed that the style was Trance. I don't think he got the message that this was inappropriate for a 5 star hotel. See less
