Delicious hot soup and many other delightful dishes to choose from. The service is quick and reasonably priced food dishes. Everything is fresh and a great menu to choose from. Plenty of tables and seating for dining in. There is excellent QR code screening of customers which demonstrates this venue is COVID safe. Cashless payment using credit or debit card allows for fast transactions either before or after your meal. Wheelchair access might be difficult as there is a single step at the entrance. Overall a great experience to enjoy a good, tasty, well priced, meal; eating in or takeaway. See less

LOVE IT! The food is so delicious and consistent. I have been going to Char Siu for over 10 years and have recommended several friends and family. Everyone I recommended and that have been there became clients. Service is so friendly and they are all so kind and polite. We have tried so many dishes and they are all great. Some of my favorites are the Laksa Soup, the salt and pepper prawns and the prawn dumplings.... oh... and not forgetting to mention that they have the best char siu pork in Melbourne :) A lovely place to eat any day of the week, both lunch and dinner time. I also constantly get some Char siu pork take away.... cannot resist. See less

This place has really improved in the last few years. The green beans with chicken on rice for $12 was delicious and amazing value. The pork is very strong but otherwise very good cheap and cheerful meal. See less

No masks worn. They insist customers wear masks but no one in the kitchen or serving are wearing a mask they are openly touching their faces and eating behind the counter then cooking without washing their hands See less

Cheap and easy asian lunch, very enjoyable, good service too, and big portion size. Located next to the Town Hall Hotel. We ordered pork belly and bean curd on rice, char kwai teow, and roast duck on rice. The flavour of the meats were delicious. The cost was under $40 for the dishes plus a drink. See less

located in the heart of Errol street I was assuming its just average, turn out they cook authentic canton food. Their bbq meats are good, my dad is very happy with the roast pork. Boss is very friendly, staff is polite. They serve dim sums too but limited range of 6-8 only. This will be my usual Chinese dinner in the area. Thumb up See less

This place is cheap and gives generous servings. We ordered seafood nasi goreng, shredded duck fried rice, and pan fried pork dumplings. The dumplings look smaller than other dumpling places (eg dumpling plus restaurant) but the skin is nice and chewy (not thick and soggy). The duck fried rice is good but the seafood nasi goreng is a disappointment for me. The word "nasi goreng" implies to me as a sambal (malaysian/indonesian chilli paste) based fried rice. But instead it's curry flavour, which not what I want on a nasi goreng. Staff is friendly and the place is not too busy when we went during weekday lunch time. See less
