I ate here with friends for our first meal out after lockdown and we had such a beautiful night! As the business is very new (unfortunately just opened right before the pandemic hit) it is not busy ...yet! So thankfully for us, we spent half the evening having wonderful and insightful conversations with Leah about Ethiopia and its culture, her life, music (I actually had my bass with me and told her that I'll come and play some music one day), ingredients, all sorts of things.
She (and her sister) are such lovely, peaceful ladies, always smiling and also didn't even charge us for the coffee (which was also a beautiful experience the way they did presented it to us).
I LOVE the artwork on the walls also - it was all painted by a Melbourne-based Eritrean artist and portrays the culture and landscapes of Eastern Africa.
Finally - the food was incredible and the prices are so reasonable! I can't wait to go back :) See less
