Dined here due to our booking at another restaurant being cancelled on arrival, this place being the only venue with availability nearby. Very disappointing dinner. Entrees of scallops and vegetable soup OK, certainly not outstanding. Main courses, one crispy barramundi, the other crispy rockling, both turned out so be small bits of unidentifiable fish in batter, that was not crispy, with accompanying sauce and a few vegetable shreds. The rockling was described as with chilli lime basil, there was no chilli. "Coconut" rice had no discernible coconut flavour. A fork, spoon and paper napkin for each of us was dumped on the table, no chopsticks, no serving spoon for the shared rice. The wine list was OK. See less

We love this place. Have always been served delicious food and we have eaten here a lot. We have been trying to support this place during COVID lockdowns as it is one of many restaurants in moonee ponds. They need the community support so if you’re thinking about stopping by, do it, you will be so glad you did. See less

Loved it! Always drove by and wanted to try it. My partner and I finally ate here for the first time and the food was incredible. The host was super friendly and helpful. Ended up getting the banquet and all the food tasted super fresh and really flavourful. Will be back for sure See less

Very good food and hospitality. They (especially a lady), try to know the consumer and makes best recommendations.. They have good vegetarian options too. Quite a professional place reflected in the cooking. Must visit restaurant near moone ponds. See less

I've lived in the area forever but somehow missed this gem. So glad to have finally found it and will definitely become a regular. Lovely fresh flavours (a group of 4 dining, ordered 3 entrees, 4 mains and 4 desserts.......all yum!) Service with a smile as well! See less

When your partner who NEVER tips, in years of being together, suddenly says "we're tipping", you know you're onto a BIG winner of a venue. Best food- generous in both portions and flavours, service, atmosphere and price combo that i can remember. I've eaten at a lot of places and this is definitely underated as a venue. Would recommend to anyone and everyone. 5 stars without question. If they served cocktails too i would never have a reason to leave. Perfect! See less

Had an amazing experience at this restaurant! Service was good and price was reasonable. We came in a big group so I was able to try most of their dishes. They had a dish called Traditional Beef & Potatoes - pretty much just potato wedges and beef and I must say, it was unique and was delicious. Their food was fresh and we all left satisfied. I would recommend this restaurant but make sure you call to book or they may not be any available seats available. See less

Do not waste your time. There are 50 other amazing resturants and bars right around here. We ordered beef and potato, as recomended by the waiter. What we got was small peices of beef in a bowl with gravy with Potato wedges. I mean Mccain style, straight from the freezer. These guys have no shame. When we went to pay I was asked "how was your meal?". I responded with " not the greatest", the lady behind the counter then admitted that their food is well below par and apologised. Love this little charmer! Been a loyal Customer for 9 years and counting... have always left feeling happy, satiated and satisfied. The chef puts so much love in the food which can be tasted. Portions are generous and prices more than reasonable. It is cosy, charming and clean. Also BYO if you wish to take in special drop. See less

Great food and great service. We were the only customer in the store as it was quite late (9pm) so it was nice to enjoy the quiet atmosphere. They also had an intriguing variety of music playing. We had the BBQ Pork in chilli plum sauce and that was delicious. We also had the salt and pepper spare ribs which were well cooked and seasoned. The chicken sizzling Hot pot with garlic sauce was fantastic. See less
