We came at 8:50 - we didn't realise China Plate closed at 9:00. The lovely owners didn't tell us kitchen was closed, instead they served us the best Chinese food we've had in ages. The dumplings were especially delicious. It was only when we walked out we realised we'd come at closing time, when the owners would have been well within their rights to tell us to come back another day. cancelled order online, pretty unprofessional. I ordered at 530pm, fairly early enough for the restaurant to be able cook and deliver. I then tried to order for pick up same thing. Tried calling them, no response. See less

It’s been a while since my last visit. Went last night lunar new year. Wow sensational just sensational. Duck pancakes, a variety of dumplings hot pot lamb to name but a few dishes. My mate called me this morning raving about the food. Well done China Plate. See less

Excellent. Fresh and exciting choices with familiar favorites and lights of new dishes to try. The chefs were cooking and rolling and blowtorching dishes as we are adding to the never ending train. It was so good we went back again the next day! See less

absolutely disgusting ...honey chicken..where was the chicken ..tough as cow hide...rice had bad smell even my dog would not eat this food ..threw all in bin ..35 dollars wasted .....pick up your game.. never try this so called restaurant .. See less

Just delicious! Superb dumplings and just scrumptious mains. Mains aren't your bog standard and everyone we had was exceptional. Highly recommend the eggplant. See less

The food was really delicious but the owner who was serving us was very cranky and rude. The portions for the prices were also disappointing. When the owner asked me how my meal was I told her that I thought it was delicious but questioned the portion sizes for the price. I was confronted with hostility and further rudeness. See less
