Loved the food here! Authentic thai and best part is they provide option for people who do not like spicy food! The papaya salad with soft shell crab, griled chicken, pad see ew noodles, thai fried rice, beef in black bean sauce and kana moo grob were well worth the price as the taste is excellent! We were fully satisfied and felt good after eating here. Definitely coming back here:) See less

Ordered Mossman and got a large piece of meat attached by fat and grizzle. Sauce was ok but ended up having to give almost half the meat to the dog. 🐕 very disappointed for the price. See less

Shocking Roti! Ordered 8 pcs and they were all very soggy, wet, and oily. I could've squeezed enough oil out of them for a stir fry. See less

If you are Thai food Lover you need to try Chong Co Thai.. it has good presence all over Canberra. From Belco, Wooden to Kingston... Recently I visited their Belconnen resturant. Order my fav stuff. In frame: Chicken Satay sticks with peanut sauce. Veg Curry puff and Spring Roll.. omg it was so crisp n yummy 😋 For mains we ordered Chicken combination rice and vegetable pad thai. Loved the crinkle on the carrot and lots of fresh veggies 👌 and for drinks it was Rose lime soda. Ambience wise this place is so serene..with Budda statue and water fall. Its unique spicy and sour taste is why I like Thai salads so much. I have had salads at this restaurant a few times and they are tasty. I have also tried salads at other Thai restaurants, and although the way they do it is a bit different, they are all delicious. Even though I'm a spicy foodie (I've enjoyed Sichuan cuisine, Korean cuisine, etc.), today's salad at Chong Co Belconnen was too sour and spicy. It's not pleasant for me to see food wasted, so I always order what I think I'll be able to eat and finish it. Unfortunately, I felt sick to my stomach and my throat burned as I tried to finish the meal. The only thing I would recommend is the friendly staff. See less

We went there for a family dinner on a Sunday evening. The only thing that was awesome was your staff, super friendly and attentative. For some reason they pushed all the guests to sit together (30 people shoulder to shoulder), even though the restaurant was a third full for the whole 3 hours we were there. Also I wouldn't call it the best place to have authentic Thai food as it was missing a lot of flavour. It was too sweet and too salty. See less

I've been here multiple times and I love it. The flavours are very good for a mid tier restaurant. The staff are also reasonably friendly and attentive. I had some fantastic ribs the last time I dined there. They close off one part of the restaurant after 9pm as they begin winding down. Getting kicked out before you even finish eating almost seems almost like an authentic traditional experience at some Asian restaurants around Canberra. 🤣🤣🤣 They start clearing plates and almost nudging you with the mop as they start to clean up. I won't name and shame those restaurants. That's certainly not the case at Chong Co, at least you can take your time and eat your meal in peace. See less

Wow wow wow... The worst food I have eaten this year. Lucky my take away box was half empty so I didn't have to choke down more of this slop. Tasteless, more oil than in my car's engine! DO NOT EAT HERE! I would be embarrassed to serve this to even someone I hate. See less

Always delicious! Went there for my son’s birthday and every dish was absolutely amazing. All different spices and tantalising to the taste buds. Excellent restaurant for special occasions. Our favourite is the whole barramundi in Chilli and basil sauce. Yummy! See less

We always love to eat here and our all time favorite is Pad Thai..They also serve Pad Thai for kids. They served alcoholic beverages...(wine and beer). They served the food quickly. I did not take a picture of the prices in the menu because I do not know if its ok. See less

Satay chicken appetiser ok - sauce was very ‘jelly like’ and bland, Thai fish cakes were great. Black pepper soft shell crab was excellent, and chicken pad Thai was good. Very busy and very noisy however the staff were great. Would go back again. See less
