Delicious and authentic spot for Chongqing style noodles. The signature spicy noodles have a great fragrant spice kick to them, and the non-spicy soups like the mushroom chicken broth noodles and wontons are also full of flavour! You can trust that a Chinese food spot is going to be authentic when most of the clientele are of that background. Such a great feed tucked away in Dickson. I love the little cold sweet snacks too - very authentic additions like the snow fungus soup and red date jelly. They pair great to gently bring down the fire in your body after those spicy noodles! The dry and broth noodles were both fantastic, and the level of spice is excellent without being overpowering. Highly recommend the beef noodle. A classic, with good portions of beef so you actually feel like you've had a meal. See less

Absolutely mind-blowing noodles. There's something of a Renaissance of szechuan noodles in Canberra at the moment, and Chongqing is leading the charge in terms of flavour and value. No criticism, everything is perfect! See less

The noodles here are great and one of the best in the Dickson area. We ordered beef noodle with soup and dry chicken noodles. The spice level is mild but if you don't have a good tolerance for spice, make sure you ask for no spice. My wife's favourite restaurant in Dickson. She loves the spicy street noodles, which are flavourful and textured, well worth the $11. I usually get the tomato and beef noodles, because I can't handle spicy food lelz. The tofu skin is also a real delight. Service is great and the wall murals never get old. See less

Had several meals here with friends or alone, but every time was a great experience! The soup the noodle combining together makes fabulous taste!!! I have to say this is 3000 times better than that panda noodle in the city! And the side dishes taste really nice with fairly prices. See less

Absolutely hands down epic food at excellent prices! This place does "ma la" (numbing spice) extremely well and dishes are flavoursome and generously served. Prices start from $9.50, order from the counter and there are four levels of chilli to choose from. Don't be put off if you don't fit in with their regular clientele - the staff are very kind and helpful. This restaurant makes a great addition to the Dickson main strip and I can't wait to go back!
