Porchetta panino was juicy and tasty. Hot cakes were decent but didn’t stand out. See less

I’ve visited this place a few times now and apart from amazing food, the consistently outstanding service is what makes it special. No matter how busy they are, you get excellent unpretentious service and of course everything we tried so far has been excellent. Thank you. See less

Went here for brunch on Saturday. Got the baked eggs with sourdough and my bf got the breakfast burger. We had a chai latte and flat white to go with it. Very tasty food. Cute restaurant and friendly staff! Looking forward to coming back for dinner! See less

We had the most amazing dinner. The staff here were incredible, their recommendations were amazing and everything was cooked so perfectly! The bistecca was like butter, the salmon was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The ravioli was perfect and the sauce was to die for. Every plate we had was picked clean. I will be back. Cicco Zetland is a great Italian restaurant near Green Square. Loved the selection of antipasti, salumeria with freshly cuts of prosciutto, mortadella, salame, etc. And their pizzas are on point! We’ll be back See less

Amazing variety of food and brilliant coffee. They roast their own coffee on site and the food is second to none! Those dough balls are just the best! Warm and welcoming atmosphere day and night, highly recommend for anything, a small catch up to a larger gathering. See less

Cicco is the perfect local restaurant for a nice brunch in the sun. The food was pretty good, but their friendly staff is what it makes it unique! It's usually pretty busy so, the service can be a bit slow. If you're not in a rush, it's definitely worth to wait and exchange some funny jokes with their waiters. See less

Wednesday night at 7pm. Didn't have a booking and was able to be seated inside for 4 people. But within 30 minutes was completely full. So would recommend booking if you want to sit outside which has a nice terrace under fairy lights. Asked the waiter for recommendations and was happy with their suggestions and so ordered the fried bread bits, meat, burrata and pickled veges to start. Pickled veges were a bit basic and only one of everything on the plate so not that great for sharing. Fried bread bits are sort of sweet and savoury at the same time. Sort of donut consistency but quite good. We ordered 2 pizzas and the ravioli for 4 people and it was the right amount of food. We ordered the bufala and the prosciutto pizza. Pizzas were fresh and the base was good but topping were a bit light on. Ravioli was nice but not fantastic. Wait staff were helpful and friendly and accommodating. I was very impressed with the service. We ordered two drinks each (beer or wine) and for 4 people ended up costing $200 total. Overall impression, nice mid week dining and staff are very friendly. For $50 pp with house alcoholic drinks I was happy with what I got. See less

Cicco in Zetland has long been a family run venture, owned by Tony Pacitto, who ran Cafe Vité. His son Alex has taken over the business and re-opened it as an Italian cafe restaurant with breakfast and brunch options and evening shared dishes. Taking his favourite influences from Italy and incorporating them with fresh Australian produce and proteins to produce a super tasty and very approachable menu. We love the name, and the story behind it, for Cicciotto essentially translates to “chubby boy”, encompassing what Alex recalls of childhood memories and food. With everything made in store except 1 bread variety (the Sonoma miche), you’ll find a range of panini, home made egg pasta, wood fired pizza and decadent desserts, everything is unbelievably delicious and so perfect to share over a few spritzers. Sit alfresco under the fairy lights and enjoy a refreshing drink or aperitivo, whether it be a Bellini, spritz, negroni or campari or a wine from their extensive drink list. Inside, the venue is spacious with exposed brick, open plan kitchen, visible wood fired pizza oven and expansive bar. It’s certainly the kind of place for a group catch up and would be appropriate for larger celebrations. Food wise, it’s a great option to bring with antipasto, as our dining party devoured a colourful antipasti platter featuring marinated vegetables and pickles, salami, mortadella, and a creamy burrata. We enjoyed this with their made house focaccia and plump marinated olives. In addition, for the entrees, their version of Bruschetta on miche sourdough was nice and crispy, topped with fresh cherry tomatoes, onion and balsamic. Another stunning dish was their Eye fillet tartare, perfectly marinated and presented like a work of art. When you’re looking to decide on a main, you’ll find plenty of Italian favourites from their wonderful wood fired pizza that you can watch the dough being rolled, smeared with a red or white base and topped with your favourite ingredients. We shared a classic Margherita; San marzano tomato, fior di latte, basil, oregano as well as the most amazing Mushroom & ricotta calzone which oozed with the cheesy filling. Pasta wise, these are outstanding and absolute must orders. Their version of the cacio e pepe orecchiette, cheesy and served with pepper, pecorino and guanciale. In addition, their marinara linguine is one of the best we’ve tried. You can’t stop here, for dessert is a must. You can’t go wrong with a cannoli and the ones here are dainty, crispy and just as you expect with the creamy ricotta filling, crispy shell and topped with pistachios. They also do a mighty fine lemon tart, the biscuit base served with a runny lemon filling, cream and fresh fruit. This will see you keep putting that spoon back in for more. Not only does Cicco do a great dinner, but we’ve also tried their all day brekkie/brunch menu with your brekkie classics and also Italian paninis. We enjoyed their chicken schnitzel sandwich on miche sourdough and of course one of their in house roasted coffees; who can go past the traditional espresso! We love that the outdoor area is puppy friendly too. The staff with their Italian heritage made us feel welcome and come with a depth of knowledge of Italian food and make for a great experience all round. See less

This place is a hidden gem, tucked away in the backstreets of Zetland it came highly recommended and did not disappoint! We went with a breakfast burger and breakfast bowl shared between us and it was fantastic. A very unique take on a breakfast burger made it super interesting and left me wanting more! Whilst the breakfast bowl had a really great mix of all things healthy and being finished with a complimentary vinegarette. See less
