One of my favourite restaurant in Canberra. Absolutely amazing skewers and the soup is super. 10/10 for the service, only one person to run the whole game, really hard worker, she deserve 5 stars so here it is! Maybe 1 helper in the busy day would be great for customers and staff 👍 See less

Don't know what went wrong when we visited, but the service was slow, food was disappointing with everything coated in something like Lawries Seasoned Salt and the drinks arrived well after the food. And one dish never turned up at all. No apology was offered for any of this so hopefully a frank review will guide them on customer expectations. We won't be going back. See less

Terrible slow service and lower quality foods. Even We couldn’t get drinks for 30 minutes after sit. Staffs never say sorry, couldn’t understand English. We paid 50 dollars but we had to go to other restaurant for second dinner. Because i was still so hungry! See less

Excellent food but horrible service. I mean, it’s a weekend and you hanging out with your friends, you expect some-kind of delightful experience. We politely complained about the slow service, but one of the waitresses eventually got emotional and start by throwing food into our plate. Which totally ruined the overall experience. Again, to be fair, the food great, we love it. No issue at all. But its a horrible experience. See less

2nd visit...really fast service .the variation of set menu where you can choose 2 from column A etc works beautifully allowing you to try the entire menu. Ranged from very good to delicious hard pressed to choose a favourite between wagyu and pork belly in bacon I'm a big guy but all those teeny little bits of meat on sticks really add up :). Even the greens were awesome ! ( This is the first time I've ever been impressed enough with a place to rate it :) .) See less

Authentic Chinese food isn't for everyone also rarely like "Westernised" versions found in Chinese restaurants throughout Australia. A lot of efforts and credits in such competitive area for a niche market, truly appreciated the tastes of home. BTW, good selection of some highly rated Chinese beers which are crisp and tasteful. New restaurant with grilled meat on skewers. No regular Chinese food here. Quite a venture considering all the competition around Dickson. We tried all the special marinated meats on skewers - beef, chicken and lamb. The marinade is the same for the different meats. Then went for chicken gizzard, pig intestines, Lebanese brinjals, stir fried clams with shallot and garlic, pan fried pork dumplings. Interesting mixture which made me think of “yakiniki” - office workers in Tokyo, who join their colleagues for drinks after work hours. Atmosphere was similar here though most were eating rather than drinking. Co Bar is new and trendy, services by young Chinese. Hopefully they will find support from those who do not want to eat much but want to catch up with friends over cold beers or teas. Unique and pretty good food, nice ambience too. Be adventurous and give it a fair go. See less

Terrible service, table water with no glasses to drink from, menus and napkins dumped on our table while wait staff talked across our table and rushed to tend to their Chinese customers making us feel completely unwelcome and unvalued. Menus were a mess, items all over the place. Sour and rancid tasting pork sausages(also dark pink in the middle even after being replaced, most likely imported. Wait staff leave THEIR service docket on YOUR table abd cross each item off as it arrives. Even after everything had artived the docket was left their, completely dysfunctional and unorganized systrm they are working to. I am saddened to see these kind of restaurants being able to operate in our Dickson shopping area. Please train your staff and learn that in hospitality your main goal shouldnt just be to earn money but more importantly to increase customer visitation, the money will come from that. Please train your staff properly and treat your customers better, i felt like this restaurant was opened only for Chinese to dine in. Probably wouldnt dine here again but i do hope to see an improvement. See less
