Great location with heaters for those sitting outside. The food is a bit bland, and doesn't taste like authentic food that I've ate from Thailand. It's good for those who are new to Thai flavours. The staff are friendly and inviting. See less

Food is always great. Tasted authentic and I love the way they used fermented crab in their papaya salad. Only thing I’d say is staff are a little forgetful. We ordered drinks and rice which they forgot to provide us until we followed up. We were served a curry but had no rice! See less

Just had a fabulous lunch at CocoNine. Delicious Thai food. We had the green curry, stir fry vegetables and beef and pad Thai. Enjoyed all the dishes. And as it was lunchtime they were all lunch specials so total bill was only $36 for the three of us for lunch. Best food I've had in Canberra so far. Highly recommend. See less

Great Thai food in a great setting. The location is brilliant - right at the Kingston foreshore, inside and outside sitting areas - great opportunity to take a walk on the promenade along the lake before or after the meals (or both!) Good selection of southern Thai food, fresh ingredients and super-fast friendly service. We did not book in advance and popped in to see if we could get a table, and the waiter helped us find an available table for 1.5 hours until the next booking. Recommend signature dishes such as fish and seafood Tom Yam soup noodles. Coconut ice cream was a particular highlight - the scoops had a different texture which was a pleasant surprise. See less

Always good service, ambience and food. I nearly always have the roast duck curry but lamb cutlets are great too. My wife and daughter enjoy Pad Thai and Beef Pad Siew. It’s a little noisy for someone with hearing aids would be my only criticism but that can’t be helped. See less

The most authentic Thai restaurant I’ve been to since 4 years of being In Australia. They have not compromised their flavors- still spicy and flavorful and not too sweet... The boat noodle’s flavor was a little heavy for my tastebuds and the fried chicken slightly bland.. but the Tom yum was pretty good and so was the chili basil..
