I was suprisingly impressed with this little cafe. It's located along the drab strip of shops in Lalor Park but after you walk inside, the atmosphere is completely opposite. It has a casual and relaxed ambience, and a vibe you find in cafes located in Sydney's inner west. The menu is simple but it's comforting, delicious, good value and it beats those big coffee chains!! I also love the opportunities they offer to the community. The staff are super friendly and you can tell they are passionate about what they do.Well done! See less

What I love about this place is that the cafe ia designed to give back to the lalor park community just like salt gives flavour and preserves meat to a tasteless and dying world. Food is still very tasty and my long black was flavoursome. Recommend a big brekkie or their hash special if they have it on. Not everyone is going to google and come here to eat or get a coffee from miles away, but we need more of these life giving community cafes that want to impact society and give generously. If you're around in the morning? Stop by for a coffee and chat with the friendly staff. There are opportunities to volunteer here too! See less
