High end hipster-level coffee made in a warehouse conversion. The fact that the peninsula now has enough hipsters to support a warehouse size operation is a credit to the area. They have an app for online orders which is not too clunky (has Apple Pay), and can save you some unnecessary hipster fraternisation in the queue. Haven’t tried the food, but the people around me seemed to have no complaints and the place is huge so should be no issues getting a seat. See less

Came once and their entire EFTPOS system was down, so they were unable to take any orders at all. Queue was huge. We came back a couple weeks later and everything was running very smoothly which was good to see. Large outdoor seating area for COVID conscious, with a nice and simple menu. We came on their 9th birthday, and their pulled pork burger was 5/5! The coffee is the star here though, and I highly recommend the tasting boards - they come with little info cards, and the waiter explains each coffee and it’s origin. See less

Commonfolk continues to make exceptional coffee. The YinYang is such a great way to experience two styles in one sitting. The food is also on point. We have not been let down and will be back when in the area or add it to the route on a day of adventure. As for coffees - my favorites have been Worka and Jose Chameleone. And you really can’t go wrong. See less

The new menu is worth checking out, I enjoyed both the Cubano and Schnitty Roll, the latter was my fav and the former, my partner's. The coffee was great, FW and cold drip, worth making a detour on your way down (or up) the peninsula!! See less

100% would recommend Commonfolk. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The food is even better not to mention the great coffee. We orders the chicken burger, duck pancakes and Mr Potato Head. All were excellent. Large in and out door spacious seating area. Parking was surprisingly easy to find considering the street can get very busy with the other surrounding businesses. See less

absolutely adored the food and coffee here! The large coffees were very generous in size too! Food was delicious and had a great variety for the dietary restricted folk. My friend’s looking into having an event here and staff were very helpful in providing us info. Sadly had run out of the gf vegan banana bread so will have to be back to try it! See less

Great coffee, delicious food and friendly service. Walked in and we’re seated in the outdoor area straight away. Social distancing is being observed and you can even use your phone to order at your table. Dog friendly as well, the chef even gave our dog some bacon! See less

Away from the main strip, but still busy. Which isn't surprising cause their coffee and their food was great. Funky looking place with plenty of seats inside and in the courtyard. Staff were great and very welcoming. Highlight was the weird shaped gluten free donut thing. Later found out it's from rebel donuts down the road. Make sure you get one! Well worth a visit when in the area. See less

My favourite coffee place in Mornington. It was hidden away in the middle of industrial park. We could have missed it completely if there weren’t that many cars parked around it. You can tell that this place is serious about coffee from their menu. You have options of regular coffees or combinations of batch brew and espresso. Food is surprisedly good. The portion is huge. Two of us just managed to finish the butter milk fried chicken burger. It was juicy and full of flavour. I would highly recommend this place for a Sunday brunch. We will definitely come back again when we visit Mornington in the future. See less
