Went there this weekend with my husband and it did not disappoint. Couldn't fault any of the food we ordered. If you want authentic Italian food this is the place to go. Do yourself a favour and order the orecchiette ragu as it is to die for. Also, very happy to see an ice cream cassata on the desert menu. Not one other Italian restaurant in Canberra has this on their menu to my knowledge. Overall dining experience was lovely. We will be back See less

One of the best Italian restaurant in the town. If you want to enjoy the flavourful Italian dishes and wood fire 🍕🍕pizzas, Cucina is the best one. We had a terrific family dinner here. All meals were delicious and served on time and with a smile. As a gluten intolerant person, the staff were very accommodating and allowed me to make choices on what I wanted to eat. It was the best gf pasta meal I've had in Canberra! I am Uber drive and picking the order for customer from Cucina and I was used toilet than suddenly owner come to me and ask rudely that why you use toilet ? this is my private property, this only for customer not for Uber drivers and if you come again don’t use my toilet? This place makes great pizza. Their base is perfect, their sauce is amazing, they are so yum! They are definitely better in the restaurant than getting it delivered, delivery seems to make them a little soggy especially in the middle, however the flavours are still there. My colleagues &I often travel to Canberra for business and we all agree that it’s the best Italian restaurant and bar which has beer on tap, the food is amazing , trust me we have tried all their dishes, my favourite is the salt&pepper squid. We dined on Friday night. The food is amazing and it is well priced for the amount of food you get. I'm a Shiraz drinker & I loved the wine. My daughter had a cocktail, she loved it too. The atmosphere is excellent. Staff make you feel welcome and cater to all your needs. Definitely will be returning. See less

Thanks to Covid we’re stuck in Canberra, but if you want a taste of Italy then this is the place to go!!!! I ordered the truffle/mushroom pasta off of the specials board which was the absolute highlight of the night and a vegetarian pizza which also lived up to expectations! I’ll 100% visit soon and will recommend any day of the week! See less
