Last night we had a small party here for our anniversary. It was excellent arrangements done by the dawat e punjab team. Food was really incredible and everyone enjoyed the food. Its just a fabulous food I ever had in Canberra, curries was too delicious and love for garlic naans, thanks for the good hospitality especially the front staff for polite behaviour and thanks for chefs who made all delicious food and made my valentines day more special. Had such bad experiences drive all the way from Yass and have to wait for an hour to get food on the table. Even though it’s busy they don’t know how to manage the customer. Staff was busy mostly on serving takeaway food. The food we ordered wasn’t good. Next time have to think twice to come. See less

Such a bad experience on Valentines Day. We have ever had in our life for dine in. Waited around more than 45 minutes for just 2 most common curries and Naan, despite of waiting such long, getting wrong order. All the customers who were there even those who came after us, they finished and we were sitting idle for a long. Will never go again with such unwelcoming attitude. Extremely bad service. Didn’t even try to offer something which usually businesses do to retain their customers. Not even take too long if we cook at home. See less

Very disappointed, waited for more than 30mins in the table, nothing was served, other customers who came after us were served before us and we felt we were completely ignored. Have been to so many Indian restaurants but this experience was worst. See less

Sunday night delivery was excellent. We had the Dinner for 2 pack for $49. 2 x pappadums, 2 x samosas, 2 x Garlic Naan. Palak Paneer and the Special Chicken. Tasty dishes with a Punjab twist. Don’t come in unless you want a leisurely paced dinner. Staff are friendly, each dish was yummy and generously portioned. Their lassis tasted a bit different but I am guessing that is the Punjab style spicing up that makes it so. Have no complaints as it is fairly new and located near Kippax Vet. See less
