Absolutely fantastic! Now every time we go to Canberra we have stayed at the Deco Hotel and LOVE it! It was our 4th time and I thought I should leave a review. The hotel is just perfect, CLEAN, modern, extremely comfortable. The design of rooms is functional with great features from touch pad for lights, curtains to the beautiful functional bathroom. The deco is modern, neutral and calming tones. The location is superb, central to everything in Canberra. We like to eat out and it's close to literally everything... War Memorial, Civic, Dickson, Anslie etc. Service... amazing! Professional, very helpful and genuine smiles from staff, so it seems like they like working there! This is the type of hotel where it's worth staying if you want to get out and about and have a base. It doesn't feature ballrooms or superfluous things, so all the value is in what you really need in a hotel, and for us that's why it's so valuable. Honestly for the money, it's world class! See less

Very clean and comfortable place to stay near the centre of Canberra. The apartments are also situated near public transport and shopping centres. NOTE to get into the car park the cornering was quite tight so maybe bring a smaller vehicle if possible. Overall the DECO HOTEL is a marvellous place to stay and I would highly recommend staying there. See less

This beautiful modern hotel was absolutely perfect. The heating/cooling system was perfect, the coffee and tea facilities, minibar, room service, electric push-button devices in every room, stylish furnishings, comfortable bed - everything was amazing. Including the staff. I’ve stayed at some incredibly luxurious hotels, but this is probably the one I enjoyed the most. I will definitely stay again. See less

Great hotel. Very clean, great amenities. Room serviced before 2pm everyday which is good if you want to have a rest in the afternoon in your room. Very efficient and helpful staff. Good value buffet breakfast if you book the night before. Will definitely be coming back here again. See less

What a gem of a place! Leaving some of the group owned hotels in the area well behind..! Great friendly staff, and easy check in. Plenty of space to park out front while you run in, and two levels of parking underground (which is neat and tidy and not smelling of garbage like some places do) I was fortunate enough to get a one a bedroom room, which was ultra modern. Nice finishing touches like automatic curtains! Kitchen was more than sufficient! And the washer and dryer was excellent. Did a load before I came home so nothing to do! Awesome balcony and I discovered a fold out sofa bed..so essentially it could have slept 4 people. Bar downstairs is also really nice, small but good for a lobby bar! I didn’t get to go to the restaurant but the menu looked great. Doesn’t matter, because I’ll be back in a few weeks! Thank you for a pleasant work stay guys! See less

Staff, atmosphere great! Service good. Overpriced for food portion size. Smaller platted portion sizes, as well as beer servings are smaller. Cocktail spot on. Over $250+ (incl drinks) for 3 people, shared dishes and we left hungry! Food delicious, one dodgy prawn (3 per serving)! Not value for money spent. See less

While the property is dated, by some standards, it was very clean an extremely spacious. Parking was free and easy, close access to our room. The bathroom was HUGE and clean, very nice surprise. We loved the pool. Although the restaurant was closed at the time of our visit, food delivery was very easy and quick from local restaurants and take-aways. The staff were amazing, very friendly and extremely helpful. They provided all current Covid restictions that applied to the Motel, as well as local shopping centres. Best place we have stayed in a long time! See less
