So let's start off with saying best pasta I have ever had (Papadelle) Highly recommended! Place is small but has excellent service it has a wide variety of wine, would be excellent place to have a date/get together with friends. See less

Lovely little Italian restaurant. 5 out of 6 meals were great. Duck dish a little disappointing, a small piece of duck on a bed of lentils for $38 definitely not worth it. See less

WOW - Stunning food, in a comfortable, welcoming environment. Nick + his team were so hospitable, and the food speaks for itself. Hands down the best Scallops Ive had. After reading other reviews, I had high expectations when visiting Del Posto 2409. This place lived up to its reputation! The staff were attentive, subtle yet stylish ambiance, however it’s the food that is the star hero. I normally steer away from Italian cuisine because to me it’s everyday food. Del Posto’s food presentation and quality cooking is a lovely surprise. Would definitely visit again and highly recommend this place for anyone looking for quality food and interesting wine list! We looked randomly for a good option to celebrate our anniversary, we couldnt have found a better option than Del Posto.. Everything was perfect,. the place is cosy, the quality of the food is outstanding, all the meals were delicious and the customer service exceeded our expectations. This restaurant easily compites with the best restaurants in Melbourne! Great place, definitely will be a must every time that we come to Rye. See less

Amazing! This was the best meal my friends and I have had in ages. For $65 each we had an appetizer to share, a pasta, two sides to share, a drink and dessert - great value! Excellent service, a good wine list, but very stark, barren interior - more like a cheap sandwich café than a dinner restaurant. The food was good. Enjoyed the shrimp risotto despite drowning in butter and only one complete shrimp with tail. See less

Came down with my girlfriend for an evening out and was really impressed. I normally don't enjoy fish but decided to give the sardine entree a try and it's well worth it. Really interesting! We had the squid ink lasagna and lamb ragu, both were really great. Finished our dinner off with the chocolate tart - a tiny bit too sweet for our liking because of the sause on the bottom and ice cream but not too bad to not eat it 😂 Would definitely come back when in the area. Simply delicious. Fresh, high quality ingredients and a sophisticated wine list. The owner served us and was a delight to talk to. I'm gluten free and he changed up the scallops to suit me. We shared a number of entrees / sides and sat in the hidden courtyard at the back. You need to come here if you're visiting Rye and treat yourself! See less
