So quaint and authentically French (relatively speaking, we are in Australia after all). My meal was divine and catered for gluten free diet. The wine list was excellent too. Some issues with the steak (blue instead of medium), but otherwise excellent. I will be coming back very soon! See less

I loved this restaurant. I thought the food was excellent and everyone I was dining with really liked their meals. We were a bit early and didn’t get any service while sitting at the bar and when I mentioned this to the waitress I got a snappy response about Covid and staff shortages but the 2 French waitresses we had were lovely. Overall, I really enjoyed it and would go back, as I want to try more of their menu! See less

We had a fantastic meal here recently. Not only was the service knowledgeable and efficient, but the fillet mignon was probably one of the best cooked steaks I've ever eaten. The chips and croquettes were also really good. This place does French food really well. Probably the only criticism would be the lacklustre nicoise salad and the heavy prices on some of the wines. 9/10 See less

Decided to visit this very high rated restaurant and experience some nice flavoursome food but unfortunately did not meet the hype 😞 All dishes that we ordered were pretty bland and missing that burst of flavours you expect. The garlic and walnut Escargot was bland and had hardly any garlic. I was with friends who are very big on French food and they were pretty disappointed. The baked brie sounded really good but i did not like it and it had a bitter taste to it. The one main dish i was looking forward to was the bouillabaisse!! But again left disappointed with very subtle flavours and the only seafood that tasted fresh and was cooked well was the salmon in it. All the other dishes needed salt and more flavour. One dish that wasn't to bad was the duck main with mash and mushroom and truffle sauce. The duck was cooked well and tasty but where was this truffle flavour you speek of? Overall unfortunately i won't be going back. ______________ In regards to the response from the restaurant, well done on you're "professional" response which will definitely get you 5 stars!!! No need to be a smart cookie!! Plus, lockdown and covid have nothing to do with adding seasoning on you're food! Or having a flavour that is mentioned on the menu but you can not taste! I never once questioned the service recieved either. You had plenty of staff on which again was never questioned but you decided to bring that up. If you are unable to take honest feedback by a paying customer that wasn't satisfied then maybe you shouldn't be running a business or responding to people who have every right to be honest. I was never rude or even harsh about the food!! Just honest and constructive. Would love to have you over for a meal in my house because i take feedback on board which would improve something that someone wasnt happy with!! See less

My husband kindly booked to go for a belated Valentine's dinner. It was lovely. As soon as you walk in. It's a place you want to be in. Busy at 6pm. Staff were lovely and attentive. We had croquettes to start they were delicious. Then onto mains. We had beef cheek and a steak. Both meals were excellent. Onto dessert. We had creme brulee is was perfect. All the food was excellent quality. Well presented. Wine list was good. Dessert a must. We had a great night. Wine went down well. Would easily come back. It is now my absolutely go to restaurant. The atmosphere, staff, selection of drink's, don't let's forget the amazing menu is just to "die for" . Had my Christmas Eve dinner here and was genuinely impressed! The Bouillabaisse was definitely the highlight - the soup tasted delicious with a complex flavour from all the fresh seafood in it. The amount of seafood was generous - crab, prawns, mussels, clams, salmon… A dish that warms up your night. The pork and thyme meatball was also amazing with the blue cheese sauce - meat was bouncy, juicy and flavourful. The night ended perfectly with the nougat parfait - rich, milky and nicely balanced with raspberry and coco powder. Scotch fillet was nicely charred and cooked. Escargot was a bit too plain for our liking - but maybe that’s the authentic French style. Definitely a hidden gem in Adelaide city and good for an celebratory occasion or just a casual nice dinner on the weekend! See less

Delicious bouillabaisse, it’s so yummy with bread, must try. Enjoyed their Chef Menu with 3 course sharing plate…..generous portion. Nougat parfait melt in mouth. Will be back for the duck dish. See less

Small lovely restaurant with a cozy atmosphere. Options all seem really good! Escargot with cheese for entrée was yummy. The staff handled a problem we had with it professionally. Bouillabaisse was so heart-warming and the bread served with it was made really well. Gets messy with this dish, with all the shells, but it is worth it! However my second visit for the Bouillabaisse was not as filling as my initial visit, they skimmed on the seafood ingredients. Duck leg was also very tender and the mash was smooth and went really well with the gravy. Beef cheeks were so tender. Finished off with a nougat parfait which was delightful. Creme brulee was so creamy and rich with a thick layer of caramelised sugar. Overall a great experience and would love to go back to try the rest of the menu! See less

Decided to walk in and try the French Onion soup and it was amazing. It would have been the best French Onion soup that I have had so far in Adelaide. The swret caramelised onions with the broth and the right amount of cheese with the crouton just finished off a wonderful dish for me. Will definitely come back for more soon. Edit: Came back tonight with the family for dinner. Spectacular food, packed with flavour and portion was generous. Service was excellent with very friendly and attentive staff. Looking forward to trying the duck next time. Had a wonderful time here. Service is fast and attentive from very friendly staff. The quality of the meals is great, with a really broad range of dishes to choose from and the portion sizes are very generous so overall a good value high quality meal out.
