Came here for breakfast right after it had newly opened under new ownership and name. What a massive improvement the new owners have made to the former marina. The place itself has now been modernised and looks fantastic. Now the menu itself still has a few of the old items on there which I’m yet to try. As I’ve only came in for breakfast. The fritters were nicely presented and tasted great, the coffee was really good too. Would recommend. Will have to come back to check out the dinner menu. See less

I have been here a few times now for breakfast its excellent we went for our first lunch service. food is excellent had mojitos perfectly balanced and dark and stormy. heaps of beers on tap. Very good food and the staff are great with our young son. See less

We booked for lunch on the Sunday before Labour Day. The food was very good as is the drinks selection. Nice ambience and comfortable seating. The staff were friendly and helpful however it seems that they were struggling a little as it did take slightly longer than I anticipated when requesting a menu or making an order. We'd be happy to go there again for sure and will recommend it to others. See less

Love the original Deoro & Co Cafe so had to visit their new one and it didn't disappoint. These guys know what they're doing. Really friendly staff like their other store, patient with our kids and the food is incredible. Lot's of options too for the whole family. Will be back asap! See less

Hadn’t been to this restaurant before, I don’t get down to Hastings much. Popped in on the Saturday for lunch. Turns out it was their opening weekend, apparently new owners. The staff was really friendly. My meal was great. The views over the water are quite nice. I sat inside, but the outside area looked good if you want to get some sun. Definitely come back next time I’m in town. See less

We had lunch on open day and found a new developing gem by the bay. The staff were brilliant, happy and attentive. The weather on the day was great for both an indoor and outdoor dining experience. The menu is modern and extensive with meal choices that will cater for everyone's tastes. The open kitchen is is a nice touch that you don't see much of these days, it adds a great vibe the restaurant. Great location to drop in for a coffee from one of the many walks in the area or sample a cold one at the bar after a hard day's fishing. We had a lovely breakfast at Deoro By The Bay. We went here on opening day so expected some teething problems as you would expect at any new place. However, we were greeted at the door by friendly staff, had a chat with the lovely new owners and enjoyed a delicious meal. We will be back! Great job to you all! See less

We went to Deoro By The Bay with my sister and brother-in-law for lunch and were super impressed with the renovations, service and meals. Day 2 of service. Food was excellent. All prefect. Few minor teething issues with service and booking system. But in the next few days I’m sure they will smash it. Definitely try. I am very pleased I chose to try 'Deoro By The Bay' in Hastings for Breakfast today, this place is amazing! The restaurant itself has been beautifully renovated and is in a great location. The staff were exceptional and really care about your complete experience, making it a lovely atmosphere. The breakfast was perfect, presented well and tasted amazing. The coffee was the best I have had for a long time. I must say I saw the breakfast platter being served to another table and that is definitely on my 'must try' list for next time I'm in. The lunch and dinner menu looked great too, lots of choice, and seeing what the place is like will be returning to try it. Would highly recommend it to anyone! See less
