Visited Drifters for dinner and drinks with my mate. Ordered drinks and pizza. The pizza came within the hour but we had to remind the waiter that we still hadn’t received the drinks after some time. The pizza was great and drinks were really good. However on the second round, my drink never came. We were then told they were closing time in 30 minutes (8:30pm, instead of 10pm like the website says) so I went up to the bar to see where the drink was only to be stared up and down by one of the female staff from the other end of the bar (probably just hoping I would go away instead of helping). So I said to another bar staff that I know the place is closing but they actually hadn’t given me my drink and it’s been about half an hour. This bar staff was nice but had to ask what I ordered and then made the drink for me. Pretty disappointing service. I might still come here for the events/club at night but definitely not lunch/dinner service. See less

I hosted a lunch event for 30 women on Saturday at Drifters Wharf and it was incredible from start to finish. From the very first meeting with Rachel (events co-ordinator), they made me feel comfortable and listened attentively to every detail I required. As this was my first event, they helped me through, communication via email was clear and they responded quickly whenever needed. The event ran smoothly and was successful. The staff were friendly and catered to our needs. The day and the whole process was such a success I would highly recommend Drifters Wharf for any future lunch or dinner events. Good, not great. Maybe I just ordered the wrong dishes as other members of our party were happy. I ordered the calamari entree and squid sub. Unfortunately either the photos or description were not overly accurate. Effectively just battered calamari for both despite they pictures alluding to grilled squid(particularly for the squid sub). The sauce on the squid sub wasn't pleasant and was overpowering. A few lettuce leaves accompanied the sub. The bread for the sub was way too big and was hard/crusty and wasnt worthwhile eating with the fried squid. Stranglely the sub was cheaper than the entree calamari and looking over the menu the prices were generally on the high side. The venue itself offer great views and the staff were all friendly and helpful. I'll give the venue another go for lunch and try another menu item. See less

First time eating here since the new name and we were fairly happy with everything. The staff were super friendly and helpful with extra dishes and drinks etc the food had the option to be ordered via the QR code on the table which is a great plus when dining with multiple people and not having to worry about splitting the bill but there are a couple of extra hidden fees associated with it. The food and drinks were served in a timely manner, I had the steak which was delicious. At our table the Lobster Mornay and the Jumbo Prawns were also hits but the Squid Sub was not. Very small squid to batter ratio, a huge crusty roll and the picture showed fresh squid but neither roll had any, only thin, battered squid pieces. Overall, I would suggest you visit if you're a seafood fan as there lots of choices at reasonable prices plus the view on the water is lovely. See less

Beautuful water views on the deck and also in the dining area if prefer indoors. Good menu prices and selection... great food, value for money! Recommend bookings for indoor table. Order at the bar or scan app at the table to order and food delivered to table. Friendly and warm service. In all highly recommend ! See less

Great place. Had the waygu steak it was so good. The garlic cob was my favourite. Definitely need to order this. Good location and view also from the outside deck. Place looks a little run down but the actual place has been there for years. See less

First time visiting Drifters Wharf at Gosford today for lunch. The venue is in a fantastic location right on Gosford Waterfront. Prices are on the high side however the food was okay. Service was reasonably friendly. I tried the "Smoke on the Water" pizza for $26. It was nice however the crusts were extremely tough. I am not sure it quite lived up to the price. See less

The waterfront view of this place has no excuse. The food was great. I ordered the wagyu steak and the kids loved it. Medium cooked was great and juicy. The ordering system is also a bonus. You won’t have to wait for busy attendant to come to your table, plus less likely to missed an order. Staff was friendly and helpful to attend what you need. 5 stars overall. Menu might a bit pricey but you get what you paid for. See less

So clean and airy. Nice renovation.Ant welcomed us and the other staff were delightful. The oyster assortment is outstanding. On the water so comes with a VIEW. Really enjoyed the cocktails. DJ's choice of music was very suitable for a lazy lunch. See less

Great spot overlooking the water, amazing views. New renovation looks good, ample room for plenty of patrons. Rump steak was ok (kale chips on the side to die for), polenta batons were good but the overall winner was the brisket pizza. Beer selection not bad. See less
